I am not affiliated in any way with this company. Just thought it would be a good idea to share what I researched with others.
Being that there might be some kind of delay in getting parts or excessive insurance costs if I get rear-ended and having suffered whiplash myself I researched a way to protect the bumper, my wallet, and myself.
It's sold on Amazon and it's called Spare Bumper. It was $200.00. There is some interesting legal analysis on the company website if you're interested in that sort of thing
