Assuming the $7.5k credit applies, can one get an AWD and “separately” get the cyberwheels purchased and installed so one is still over the limit?

Technically, it's physically attached options as shipped from the manufacturer. So wheel swaps at delivery center might side step the MSRP limit.

Of course, you could buy them afterward also and still come out ahead.

The Wheell is not shitty. The wheel is actually nice. The Tire is shitty but it can be replaced easily.
I intend to do that.

I am curious to what people's thoughts were on this. Reservation holder since Day 2 and got the invite Friday to design/configure and was pretty surprised to get it so quickly. Since Tesla markets their production years from November-November and being so late in the year, would it really make any difference to wait maybe a month to place the order (estimating a one-month delivery) and receive a 2025 in late December or January? I know there will be nothing different from 25-25, but having a '25 does look better on paper.

So went from 0-100 pretty fast. After all my initial issues, I completed the order on 10/5 and was just now assigned a VIN. I uploaded my insurance detail and it sounds like I’m gonna have a delivery date assigned shortly. Almost can’t believe it will go that quick, but I’ll let everyone know.
