Hi Guys,
Not sure if someone else has seen this:

If I have the speed limit setup as driver adjustable via scroll wheel, it never reaches the set speed. If speed limit is say 55mph and I set the speed to 70mph, it just hovers around 64-65.

If I add some throttle then it goes up to 70mph and maintains 70mph for a few minutes and then drifts back.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

FSD is just trying to drive how it feels safe. Telling someone or some thing to drive faster than it feels comfortable doing, adds risk.

Press the report button and give a report if it fails to keep up with traffic or is blocking people.

same. I’ve observed this no matter the circumstance, including on a highway with few to no cars. This feels like a bug and not solely about safety

I strongly feel the speed limit setting has significant room for UI optimization. rolling the scroll wheels up and down will make the up and down arrows blink on the screen, but it still says "MAX" and the speed doesn't change. the only input is via pressing on the accelerator, and that's only temporary. and it doesn't necessarily respect the offset set in settings.

Can’t set the speed target like you can in the other teslas. It does what it wants according to the posted speed. My truck wanted to cruise 75 in the reduced 60 construction zone. Granted no cones was up, there it just slowing traffic a few miles before a merge to the other side of highway. Report be your only option in these off cases.

I have experienced same issue with it never reaching Max speed and if you turn on automatic speed adjustment then it goes with rest of traffic - where it is going more than 10 over speed limit a lot of times. Which just seems like a ticket waiting to happen in something that is inconspicuous as a Fridge on wheels ?

same. the "old" FSD using the 300,000 lines of code did a much, much better job of speed handling. This one gets 5-10mph below the set speed and ever so slightly creeps up - sometimes or not at all - even if the road is completely clear ahead. Nudge it with the throttle and it's happy to keep the newly nudged (higher) speed but it doesn't like getting there on its own.

It also has a chronic tailgating problem - also never an issue with "old" FSD. And also unlike old FSD no way to set the follow distance that I've been able to discern as clicking left or right on the right-hand scroll wheel seems to have zero effect on anything.

That's because you have the setting on to decide it's own speed.

Yes, this is a very annoying part about current fsd versions. It'll consistently go under the set speed by a large amount unless you're on the freeway. 55 zones in my area I'll set up to 60 and fsd on my truck and m3 will try and do 45 unless I hit the throttle myself

I can still do this in my m3, but the truck has this missing.

I see all those quirks you all are mentioning. Thanks for confirming.

The right scroll wheel left-right clicks do nothing unlike in MY where it is distance from front car. There is also no Chill, Average and Assertive.

I am sure there will be several updates coming. Yes, I am complaining, but still super stoked that FSD on CT is here!
Thanks guys!

Also no Minimize/Disable Lane Change! Drove 200mi today and all I want to do is tail the big RV in front of me in the right lane. Even set 1mph under his speed, it wants to change lanes to pass. Even tho it can’t at the set speed. And if I set to 80 it will go same speed as cars in parallel lanes even if nobody is in front of me. Finally turned off FSD, but still has the no over speed limit without a nudge problem.

Same issue with FSD. It’s a PITA. What works is pressing the accelerator.

100% agree, its my only complaint. If you like to drive in the right lane current CT FSD is for you. If you want to be in the left lane its not and it will hover between 65-70. It lets you set 80 or 85mph max speed limit, but wont ever get close. Basic Autopilot accelerates and stays at that max speed. Its just not comfortable driving at 80mph. Pressing accelerator helps
