The White Dash and door inserts are not worth the upgrade. Unless they include white seats. If you Got Tactical Grey. Then be happy.
I like it very much and I’m Dirty from working all the time and hasn’t been a problem. White seats would def be an issue for me but I love my all white in my M3. It’s just very clean looking to me. This seems to be a very differing opinion on the white vs the grey

It's not a downgrade only if Tesla had let its customers choose with the knowledge of the price difference and had it reflected on the payment.

And no, I don't care about exclusiveness. In fact, I dislike the attention that was drawn by the uniqueness of CT, very annoying.
I don’t disagree that they should have said that the grey will be standard on the NFS

$250 deposit sent just to ensure my ‘spot in line’ ??

only question I really have about this vehicle is where do the AirSuspension lie when it comes to warranty? Basic Vehile or Drive Unit? (I’ve never had a vehicle with such) how if the X and S handled in this regard?

I guess this would be valid question for the Steer Techs also (SBW and RrStr)

if these technologies were ‘dumb’ I would not be wondering…
Air suspension and rear steering are Basic
Drive unit is just the motor/inverter unit.

It's fine to be the "standard", but if they have somehow quote different price
Not a big deal to me. I used to drive this!

Given the situation, you don't think customers who opted AS tires and Tactical Grey deserve a price deduction of $5,500? The preference is aside the point.

Any other FS owners with AS tires and Grey trim to chime in?

No, they do not deserve a price adjustment.
They knew the price and feature set when they ordered. They deemed them acceptable. That was the agreement.

Foundation started with All Terrain and white, all the FS pricing spreadsheets gave those added which ended up lining up with the non-FS option pricing. It shouldn't have been a surprise.

They did in November. White trim and AT tires were listed as FS upgrades and everyone here said that meant grey and AS would be the standard when Non-FS launched, just like other vehicles.

They know the price? Where did Tesla list the AS tires for less price? If anything, they marketed the AS tires as a better choice, without stating the $3,500 less of the cost when letting you choose.

Even just now when I go on ordering a CT and choose AT tires, it still did not state additional $3,500; or deduction of $3,500 for AS tires.

No.

The original Foundation Series announcement said upgrades to include White and AT tires. When they released grey and AS as options, it was said all over the internet that those would be the base options in the Non-FS.

Even with all of that above, it doesn't matter. You purchased a Foundation Series package for a fixed price. When FSD dropped in price, FS owners wanted a refund...that's not how it works. If you buy anything and months later the price drops, do you expect a credit? You made a purchase on an agreed upon price and have a contract to show it. No one owes you anything.

MS/X owners who purchased Plaids for 130k lost $30k in a matter of months. This is how Tesla operates but with the Foundation, you knew a lower cost option was coming out in a relatively short window.

You do realize you are proving yourself to be wrong right? "all over the internet" - except on the black and white text on the ordering from the only entity that matters, TESLA.

In fact, when I tried to talk to Tesla employees for more info, they were hard to reach or flat out non responsive. But that's totally different topic that deserve its own thread.

I understand you got more money than you can care or that you are simply a total Tesla fan, heck, or even a Tesla employee. But for your 2nd paragraph and on, you are actually describing a different scenario. Find me an official Tesla statement to INFORM THE BUYER of this pricing strategy at the time of INKING THE AGREEMENT, then we talk. Otherwise, from here on I treat your response as trolling.

I'm trolling? You are asking posters for money. No one here can help you. Most don't agree with you.

You purchased a limited Foundation Series and you chose to downgrade to Grey/AS tires. If you thought AS tires would be the same price as AT, that's your fault. I can KIND of understand if you didn't follow the company or this board you wouldn't know that White would be the upgrade, but Tesla announced white as the upgrade in November (and AT tires). Every other model has white interior as the upgrade.

You don't have to be a Tesla fan boy to believe Tesla didn't screw you and you are just being annoying.

November? I got mine in July.
Pretty sure I'm not asking money from you nor any one else from this board for that matter.
Did you find the official statement/sample statement from TESLA I was asking for?

The original Foundation Series Configurator:

Grey/AS weren't options to begin with. They were added later and every from Sawyer Merritt to Whole Mars and 90% of the people here stated that the base CT would have grey/AS tires and the white/AT would be an upgrade. Even when they announced them people were warned they were paying the FS for the base model options and most didn't care.
