How can I send my Cybertruck from Vancouver/Seattle to Paris via airplane? I'll be there on vacation for 3 months. Then I want to ship it back home.

One night at the end of August, I met a surfer at the Supercharger in Entiat, Washington State, who said it's possible. He's a surfer from Germany or The Netherlands or Denmark, he's living in Hawaii, he was also in his FS Cybertruck. He said there's a company in Vancouver that has a promo to ship the Cybertruck to France for a few thousand dollars, I think he said $3000. But I can't find the screenshot I took of the company name, and I can't recall it. Is that surfer here?

The problem is not really flying there, it is the street legality of the vehicle. In order to drive it, the local road safety organization has to approve it and as far as I understand it requires some work to make it road legal in Europe. It may not be a problem most of the time, only when the police decides to stop you for any reason or you get into an accident.

I’ve thought about it for other cars. For an extended vacation it makes sense economically compared with a nice rental.

That surfer said people have succeeded registering the car in Switzerland and another country I can't remember, Albania maybe.

I'd love to hear experiences with this in other countries, like France. Still, each country in the EU has their own rules, so if you register in Switzerland, it may be possible that you won't be able to drive it in Germany or Austria.

I'm also planning a similar vacation, so any data regarding this would be highly appreciated.

I was in Palm Springs and some Germans pulled up next to me and loved the truck but said they don’t allow it in Germany. I thought it was an odd comment and thought maybe the language barrier confused me to what he meant but I guess maybe they don’t ?

Just replace stainless steel hood/frunk lid with carbon fiber or plastic hood/frunk lid that also contains a Pedestrian Airbag
