I'm on my way!

It's three hours with no traffic. My buddy in NYC got the hall pass from his wife so we're going!

I'll post pictures here tonight.

Tell me what you guys want to see and I'll do my best to get those shots.
Get as tight as you can to look at the stripes in the bed. To see if it's added rubber strips possibly inside T-Slots. Also, look for at the back of the bed to see if it has a Mid-gate. Ask questions!!! ? :p:love:

Might want to keep your friend away from your CT once it gets delivered. With a hall pass in play you don’t know what he’ll do with it. And I get the attraction but I’m not ready to get a hall pass over it.

Is it me or does it look like it’s been buffed out to a more consistent sheen?

The store employees evidently have military training.
They asked me to not reach over the line. Move along move along....

Its NYC. Not surprised. Still awesome in person

Do you think you would have problem driving it in NYC? In other words, do you think it is too big to be a daily driver?

Did you feel you needed a step to climb in or height seemed normal?

Anything that looked different in person that what you have imagined from photos?

Ok, I'm back!

6:26 minutes of driving. 268 miles. Averaged 42.8 mpg. 3:45 down, 2:00 back, the rest driving around NYC. The city seemed alive! People everywhere, bars were filled, people dancing, walking, etc. I was really surprised considering the awful news coverage of New York's handling of covid.

Impressions: It's bigger than it looks. It's definitely a prototype. It looks almost like a movie prop in real life. Your brain just isn't ready to look at this and process "soon to be on the road".

Fun Fact: I found the dent from Franz von Holzhausen! Yup. It's there. DO NOT swing a sledge hammer into your very own CT. That was really a dumb demo.

The lights are super cool looking. The vault lights are really cool looking!

I have lots of pictures but no way to get them on this laptop. I'll dump them in order from my phone.

Every other Uber car in NYC is an Escalade! There are delivery trucks everywhere. I would have felt totally comfortable driving the CT around NYC.

Height, door height, seems normal SUV/1500 pu height.

I was able to get a slight glimpse of the wheels behind the wheel covers
