I believe you’re supposed to get it done every 5000 miles at Tesla

Not hard at all…..put suspension in low and jack mode. Get a wheel dolly and place under tire when it is jacked up about 1\2 inch over dolly. No lifting of tire/rim required. Several videos on the process.

I'll do mine how I've always done it, every fall and spring I swap my winter tires on/off and mark them with a grease pencil so I can rotate them when they go back on.

If I didn't swap out summer/winter tires, I wouldn't rotate them based on mileage, I would use a tread depth gauge to check any wear imbalances and rotate them as needed.

At just over 4,000 miles I had Tesla install the "winter" All-Terrain tires since the price included the install. When I got home, the OEM tires all had such similar tread depths that I couldn't distinguish which ones had been in which positions. My conclusion is the AWD Cybertruck tends to wear tires very evenly (at least in my use case).

dual motor 4 wheel drive wear evenly so much less rotation needed. Since Tesla eats tire, rotation is almost not ever needed haha. Just replace them.

Just did my second rotation, trying to do them at the recommended miles 6,250 (like others have said). As HaulingAss mentioned my AWD is wearing even. Measured 9/32nd on every tire with 12,225 miles.

I always do the balance and rotation together.

- 1,000 miles: Costco balance/rotation. I've read somewhere this is the "break-in" period for tires.
- A little more than 3,500 miles: bought warranty at America's Tires/Discount Tires and request the Free balance/rotation.
- ~5,000 miles: got 1 flat tire, America's Tires patched but couldn't fix the slow leak so I have a Free new tire: balance/rotation.

Waiting until around 7,500 miles to go back to Costco for another balance/rotation: America's Tires requires every 5K - 6K per balance/rotation. The 3 old tires at 5K miles look the same to me compare to the New replacement. So I'll keep doing it just like other vehicles I've owned. Also after every time balance I "feel" the ride is a little more quiet.

Same. I have just under 13,000 miles and I had it done twice. Free tire rotation and more important...and professional balance job. I have taken it to two different America's Tire in the Bay Area. One had the platform thing that you drive over and it safely lifts it. The other used the 4 jacks. In the Bay Area there are so many Tesla's and Cybertrucks, they have experience in doing it right.
