Cybertruck OEM Car Cover Installed - Review & Photos

Arrived today, see pics to see if it's something you think worth purchasing. To me, $300 was a bit steep for what I got.

It's great material, but as you can see, and as should be predictable with the CT jagged edges, it ripped as I was putting it on for the first time. Probably some user error in there as well, but also given Tesla's attention to detail, I might have expected a best practices installation guide. There isn't one. And for those of you going well duh, it's just a car cover, remember how massive the CT is and also this thing has the corners of a bed sheet, and it felt a lot like making the bed.

Overall, should work out just fine. Just a little pricey.

Wow, that sucks about the rip. You would think the material would be much stronger for $300 or at least add reinforced corners like other manufacturers do.

To me it wasn't as much the material, but the lack of proper installation instructions. It's decent material, but ANYTHING is going to rip on those corners. I thought there might be suggested/instructed orderly fashion in which to spread it out, but you're left to your imagination lol.

I'm 5'8, so I was jumping a lot lol.

So sad they didn’t make it puncture proof! I’d see if you can return it.

Elecfresh did it better, reflectors on the corners and they even have a drivers door zipper access.

I'm sorry to hear about your rip. I bought super cheap cover on Amazon for my 4Runner and put this tape on the inside, right were my roof racks (which stick out quite a bit) hit. So far, even in heavy wind, its been great.

Old school duct tape should blend right in!

Elecfresh cover is great. Very strong material. Even has a driver's door zippered compartment which the OEM version doesn't have.
