My Beast updated last night. Test drive this morning was smooth with no interruptions (I'm rural so connectivity drops out repeatedly in certain spots). I need to do much more testing before I give it a big thumbs up.

BUT my biggest hope - getting my Apple Watch setup as a keycard was dashed as my watch says "Vehicle Software 2024.44.25+ required". That is a different fork than the Cybertruck so I guess no AppleWatch keycard for Christmas...

UPDATE:
Just finished a slightly less than 20 mile round trip from my home to the bank. AMAZING - BEST UPDATE TO DATE!

1) flawless drive only interventions were turning into bank parking lot and my driveway. Beast tried to go past both despite turn signals on and announced turns.
2) Display is much improved with smoother road markings. But did notice that at some times double yellow line would display as a single yellow line and then back again.
3) First time I have ever allowed FSD to pass bicyclists - just never felt comfortable on narrow rural roads. But I passed 3 on this run. On one, where the bicyclist was over the white line and in the roadway the Beast signaled and moved over about â…“ lane and then signaled and moved back. On the other two it simply slid over to on the center line, even when other cars were coming. Count me as impressed. California has a strict 3 feet clearance from vehicle to bicyclist - not sure FSD adhered to this but I never felt that the bicyclist was in any danger as there was plenty of space.
4) I have to pass through two 25 mph wide spots and both were perfect going, but coming back one was ignored (despite showing 25MPH badge on the display) and zipped through at 32-38mph. Not sure why!

As for the Apple Watch, this is apparently coming before Christmas (most likely Dec 22nd with the CT Christmas update). This update with come via a Tesla update to the Apple App - not on the CT....

Tested on lunch, a few notes...

- Kept center instead of leaning left in the lane.
- "Hurry" seemed to keep up with the speed of traffic much better than before.
- when returning home, it actually attempted and succeeded pulling into my driveway. The driveway is an L shape and ends in a car port. It pulled into the car port naturally and centered. It also exited the car port fine and turned out onto the street when I was backed in.

Haven't yet tested it's ability to back out of my driveway or car port but I imagine it wouldn't be able to handle it until we get the park/unpark update.

Not reading all the posts so I'm not sure anyone noticed the approximately alert I got at lunch time today.

I'm driving Off-Road High 95% off the time except a couple of trips to Vegas and always backing up to park in Extract. I heard beeps while backing up against the curb to park at lunch today. The beep started about 2' from the curb: it never happened in Off-Road before. I don't know about the front bumper yet, might try it some time later. Love to have that feature now.

I got it today. I noticed right away that the wipers come on for no reason. Even if I have it turned off it will go back to Auto. Anybody else having this issue?

Got it this morning and only got to try it for a super short trip, but it seemed to handle my biggest gripe really well now - too tight 90 degree left turns into our neighborhood street which has no lane markings. Used to turn far too tightly before and would end up in the wrong lane 100% of the time, now it made it fine.
Another observation, on the way home it went right up my driveway and parked perfectly in it's normal parking spot with no issues at all. In the past it's been able to go up the driveway maybe 20% of the time, but earlier this week I let it try to go up the driveway, and it put on the directional like it was going to try, but halfway through the turn into the driveway it stopped and had a seizure, sawing the squircle back and forth like a sport-bike tank-slapper, crawling slowly towards my mailbox before I cancelled it. Today it acted like it knew where it was supposed to park (my driveway is 4-5 cars wide where I park). Impressive! Will see tomorrow morning if it does better at getting up to merging speeds at the end of an offramp - it usually gets to the end of the ramp going WAY slower than the traffic it has to merge with, so I have to take over.

I gave it the ultimate stress test orlando traffic by disney at 5 pm. Overall it was really good. It's staying centered in the lanes now. Very confident on the highway. They fixed a few of the trouble spots I was having but it is still complaining when in direct sunlight.

I installed v13 last night and drove 4 hours on the interstate today. I had to constantly shut it off when going by semi trucks, it would hug the left side of the lane so bad and almost drove me off the road three times. It also automatically put the windshield wipers on "auto". It was a perfectly sunny day with a clean windshield and the wipers were going on and off for no reason.

I drove with the "Hurry" speed profile which drove more like I normally drive. I still have to play with the offset because when I engaged autopilot I had to turn off the wipers, and scroll the right wheel to get the max speed down from 85mph. Maybe I need to set the offset to zero so it starts off at the speed at which I engage it and then increase it from there. Kind of like the last version.

Overall not super impressed with simple driving on the highway. My model 3 generic autopilot was perfect, kept me in the lane that I wanted, went the speed that I directed and no interventions. Why can't FSD do that same thing, it's supposed to be smarter but seems like it's over complicating the accomplishments that it had before. I'm hoping the Holiday update may magically fix a couple of things when we get it next week. Hoping is just an offset of master software to FSD version. More to come.

Better on left turns. Better on roundabouts, maybe (it was an easy one). Smoother overall, better about not passing right before an exit.

Also seeing the wiper problem.

Drove all day and noticed a lot of improvement in stopping smoothly, without the "last second" heavy braking when approaching stopped vehicles and stop lights. Much smoother, with less anxiety. Also, it recognized a "blind turn stoplight" leaving my home. The older versions always ran it. In defense, you can't see the intersection and light coming from either direction until you round a curve and there it is. A dangerous curve and intersection that just doesn't provide much response time unless you know it is there. FSD 13 also chose a perfect route to a restaurant deviating from the more direct route providing a quicker arrival. Finally, it drove more like me. Slower in certain areas that have less direct line of sight down the road as compared to open highways where it would exceed the speed limit. Lane changes, merges, and four way stops with other vehicles was right on. Smooth, with slow or fast acceleration depending on the other vehicles proximity and speed. No more indecisive "jerks" on the steering.

I would just say the overall experience today was one of being less anxious when approaching stopped traffic. I'm experiencing much more "natural" slowing long before the older versions began to brake hard. Still learning how to adjust the FSD speed and what the slider means? Forty percent meaning an increase in speed of 40% above the posted limit?

One aggravating bug seems to be a "phantom wiper" that just randomly decides to wipe the windshield. Otherwise, a very anxiety free day traveling to work and home.

I did a 150 mile Interstate drive yesterday too. FSD on CT was always a bit afraid of Semis but now it is really bad. My only disengagement during the 150 miles was when it went onto the shoulder rumble strips while beside a semi. This is the only regression I've noticed so far but need a lot more driving. Overall I think it is a solid improvement and much smoother, the speed control was much better for me. I used "Hurry" mode, I think I tapped the accelerator once or twice otherwise speed control was quite good. Glad we finally got the profiles and the ability to scroll the max speed.

I need to test around town on city streets to make any further observations.

Why isn't there a minimize lane change button? My loaner S had a lot more options.
We're also lacking moving chair forward/backward buttons on the screen too?

In theory that would be chill mode.

Yes, the model S has the 3 modes in addition to a dedicated no lane change button. I feel it'd couple very nicely with the hurry mode.
