Since there are some members who feel like I'm being too critical of the CB. I have a cheerful post for you! I Drove around central LA today. awful place. But
FSD did great especially on the highway 710, 105, 605 smooth work It was impressing me how in heavy traffic on the fast lane It found the right speed to roll along at a consistent speed without the stop n go motion that some drivers will fall into, and it kept a good distance from cars ahead. With people this usually starts a chain reaction of impatient drivers that can't see beyond the one car in front of them every time they slow down so much and create a little distance, they suddenly feel like it's all clear step on it for a sec. only to see red lights again and it's like a caterpillar inching along in a wavy motion. I've been in a car that was driving like this with manual transmission talk about motion sickness. The CB solves motion sickness and the caterpillar wave for me!

I drive stick and do my best to be the part that doesn't have to hit the brakes. On my bike I just revel in the parts where the cars are stopped and are less of a risk to my filtering ^-^

But that is good news!

Ahh the traffic wave. I try and kill them by driving at the average speed of traffic, even if it means large gaps in front of me at times.

Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about Pops. thank you for that video.
I lived in grater LA all my life. I do travel I've been around, so I know what other places are like. But LA traffic at rush hour pick a highway the 110 Hollywood is probably the worst. commuting to work can be a hell hole. I know how many hours of my life I lost so far stuck in the 100 mile long parking lot moving slower than I can run.(embellishments maybe) my point is it sucks and I've always had the dream that one day we would solve that problem with autonomous vehicles. and by removing human limitations and imperfections, or human error we could eliminate the traffic time bandit. but I Imagined cars that communicated with each other and formed convoys all moving very quickly and in a coordinated manner peel off or join . Intersections that don't need to stop they simply cross without crashing. to a computer its just a simple calculation and it has no fear. So never stop intersections. and I thought for this to work we must also seperate passenger vehicles from cargo commercial vehicles, but they would have their own network of roads, tunnels, rails. If I could have all that time back, I would pay any amount for that!
