Just wanted to make all aware of this. This is absolutely key in 4680 production and, thereby, Cybertruck production ramp up.
While Elon did say that the 4680 does affect Cybertruck production (https://thedriven.io/2020/09/22/mus...t-production-of-cybertruck-semi-and-roadster/), I am not aware of any official news that the CT will be on the 4680 structural packs. It would make sense to spool up this new battery with a new vehicle.
Great rumors, like the 610 mile range, do suggest that it may be on a battery pack that is about 20% larger than originally thought--SUPER optimistic there. But that would hint at 4680s.
Thoughts?
What am I missing?
