Received gateway w/ out contract

Guess what I just got delivered to my house! Really curious now if I can install the gateway myself and have it work through the app

or have my electrician cousin do it and have it work. I ordered it using my voucher on June 19. For the record I don’t have any contract with any installer.

I received mine as well but not until I accepted the quote from the installer. For me, I would never do this myself. I don't have the ability. And, unless you're already very comfortable with this type of project, I would recommend at least getting a quote. Mine was pretty reasonable.

I'd only install it myself if it were a sub-panel install. Anything on the main panel is too close to the power coming into the house for my comfort.

But having a friend/family who's an electrician willing to walk you through it and make sure it was right sure sounds handy!
