I carry 8' literally 2-3x week, either in boards, t posts, hog panels, or otherwise. If this can't do that, it is now unfortunately no more useful to me than any other BEV that can pull a utility trailer.
Well... I feel for you then... Because neither Chevy Bolt (I got one for my park thru a EV grant... we have it parked next to an HHR hoping they will both go up in flames) or Pacifica are great towing vehicles. Seems like a CyberTruck would be a vast improvement. But let me know if you want to sell your CyberTruck reservation # (if that's a thing?) especially if it is lower than mine, which is in the 40,000 range... What can I say? I was stuck on a plane without WiFi during the unveil. Superbad timing for a business trip. LOL.

Looks to me like they moved the headlamps down to the front bumper and the lightbar across the front will now be a DRL.

I'm concerned that the light bar at the very top above the windshield is gone now.
I noticed the apparent lack of the top lightbar also.

My Pacifica Hybrid fits 4x8 sheets flat in it, hatch fully closed. My Bolt EV regularly tows a utility trailer that carries some OPE and or whatever I need for whatever project (often an ATV with a spray tank on it). Both do the jobs I need.

What I was hoping the CT would be is a way to combine them into one, but if it can't do both jobs...well, I'm out. I'll wait until everything is confirmed before releasing my rez though -I have a sub-100k number.

The bed just looks different due to the edge being silver instead of black at reveal.

looks like Elon is also addressing the giant wiper in the room on Twitter.

here’s a photo from the website, notice the sections that are silver were black before, which didn’t make the dimensions of the bed as clear. The steel now also runs all the way to the windshield which gives it a more stark contrast than before.

With the new snub nose it's beginning to look like the offspring of these creatures.

In case anyone is worried about losing the upper light bar:
That tweet is nearly two years old. I have a hard time believing things Elon said 2 days ago. And the design has changed a lot since then. I hope I'm wrong and the upper bar is still there, but these pictures don't inspire confidence. Even the identification lights have been moved down.

They are still black edges, not silver. The bed itself is black now instead of SS which is probably not helping the appearance of smaller bed. Kinda like a hall of mirrors seems longer/wider with ss bed before. So who knows until we get definitive specs on bed length. It also looks like they might have just slid a black plastic box liner into the existing bed which makes it seem smaller cause the plastic box itself seems to have some thickness to it.

Overall it looks more compact due to the front, but it looks more aggresive. Hoping the overall length is only changed at the front and didn't affect everything from the cab back.

My thoughts,
Big ass wiper
Side mirror look like they are ready to take off once approval is made
Not every change is an upgrade but overall i'm ok with it and hope it improves.

The drone operator must have freaked out when they saw a Cybertruck mule on the test track. What a scoop!!!

These are the first unofficial images of the production version of the Cybertruck. Thankfully it wasn’t filmed with another potato camera:)

I will admit, in this picture there does appear to be a slightly lighter area near the very top of the windshield, but it's hard to make out with the sky reflections.
