This galvanic corrosion thing got me thinking… can someone explain the mechanism here?It also solves a lot of the stainless steel to aluminum galvanic corrosion connection issues bolting the aluminum castings to a stainless steel exoskeleton. I could be wrong.
Is it an electrical phenomenon where the energy has nowhere to go?
If dissimilar metals are functioning like a battery couldn’t an LED or some other low energy devices be connected to draw the issue away? Rather than having a sacrificial anode?
