I have a similar spot on my hood. I figured it was from Tesla buffing out some imperfection.

Since owning the truck for a couple months I've shifted my thinking on the stainless from expecting it to be perfect to instead having character and a patina. Kind of like how really high quality leather often has natural markings.
HI Im a new vendor on this forum CYBERBRITE. You are correct, it is normal for Cybertrucks' stainless steel to vary in appearance. It is not the stainless steel itself, it is the environmental contamination of the surface layer of stainless steel that is actually the culprit. CYBERBRITE solves that problem. Hi all, first time posting here.

So it's completely my fault for not catching this on delivery day, but the adrenaline high I was on definitely made me overlook this now glaring "defect" on the passenger side door of my Cybertruck (please see attached photos).

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this kind of marking/discoloration on another Cybertruck or might know what it is and how to fix it? I was going to over to a Tesla service center and see what they say but it's about an hour away. I've had the truck for about 8 days now and am hoping that it isn't too late for something to be done to fix it. However, if there's something that I can do myself to fix it I'm totally open to suggestions!

FYI I've tried cleaning it off a few different ways so it doesn't seem like any kind of residue or grime that can be wiped off.

Thanks!

IF the factory left the rubber suction insulation tool attached to the door panel for an extended time, it would contaminate the surface layer and cause that discoloring. From the pics you are sending, your entire truck is stained. I truly believe my CYBERBRITE will solve your problem. MONEY BACK GUARANTEE and I would appreciate before and after pick. cyberbrite1.com
