Are you watching those videos? Joe said production is down last week and this week. I’ve only watched a few of Joes videos lately, but he’s said that in each one.

It wasn't. He had a video that showed a bunch of new CTs and MYs last week. He even said in it that he thought it was down.

Yes. That's what I said.
I’ve read in other threads that premium buyers are being told deliveries are pushed to May and June. I really don’t know what to believe anymore.

Production of what ramps?

You think the different seats and suspension are preventing production?

I think it was a negative margin test of the market.
I think they are switching from the 2nd gen wet electrode from LG imported from Korea, to the inhouse fully dry cell electrode. This will eliminate tariffs, logistics, vendor profit margin, and many other expenses. I think the Air suspension probably saves Tesla $5k, and other options removed probably saves another $1k or so.
I think the batteries are 20 to 30% less expensive to manufacturer. I think those costs will improve as well, as production scales. If it were not because of battery change, I don't think they would have taken so long to deliver these trucks, especially if it was an exercise to clear out RWD supply chain.

Looks like CarMax has a RWD listed. Gives a good shot of the wheels and interior of the expected standard AWD. These pics I don’t dislike the wheels as much. Still will probably swap them out. 😂

Agreed, wheels look better, I'm not sure if it's the lighting or angle.

They're hoping to get a customer who still thinks $100k/$120k are the price points and doesn't realize you can order a brand new basic trim for cheaper than this which I'd call beyond basic. Or pay $2k more for premium.

I'd say the person that traded this in is laughing all the way to the bank!

If you look at the specs, they have this tagged as an AWD model. With under 1k miles, that would be a fair price if it was really a AWD spec. Their used car manager who appraised this one will be looking for a new job soon.

I think those wheels look pretty good. Its the tires that ruin it. I think some Wildpeake's, or some Open Country's would make those wheels really look good!
