CyberSpots - spots on stainless steel

Took the Cybertruck up to Vail CO in the snowy winter last year and came back with a spotted truck. Our local tinting/wrap auto spa said they had another Cybertruck come in with the same issue but worse (they didn’t have a fix yet). Has anyone else run into this? No, I haven’t Barkeepers Helper the whole truck yet, not quite ready for that.

Tried a hard scrub with car soap and a washing hand mit and car wash power sprayer, these are deeper than that.

Soap doesn’t do the job, iron remover at least. Cyberbrite may be good, haven’t tried

Any kind of passivation solution will remove this. Tesla recommends Citrisurf 77. Cyberbrite is the newest player on the block. Some YouTubers have tried ironx. Yes I’m 21k mile and eventually need chemicals. It gets hazy. Prob try cyberbrite

Ive used citrisurf and blue scotchbrite pad as recommended by tesla as well. Works well. Hardest part is keeping it wet. Also must be rinsed off after and not done in direct sunlight.

I use Prep-all just wash ,dry and wipe down with Prep-all , done, new truck.

I just use bar keepers friend with a green scrub pad followed by diluted dawn detergent, knocks the spots out.

Bar keepers with a buffer. 10min job. Rinse off. Dry. Than go over with spray away and a couple of rags. Better than new.

Prep-all is used to clean finger prints oils etc. before you spray-paint, no scrubbing needed works for me . use a micro cloth.
