For folks lucky enough to experience a new SAWD on the lot, here is a list of questions inquiring minds want to know. Feel free to add to the list.

• Does the SAWD come with floor mats?
• Does the tailgate open and close like the Premium models (dampened open and assisted close)?

All great questions! Wish I had tested out more features.

• I didn’t see any floor mats inside the car, frunk, and cargo area.
• Tailgate does have the same damp opening and soft-close mechanism.

I don't think they come with floor mats. I feel like it said that somewhere on the order page. I remember I didn't care because I got 2 sets of mats with my FS truck. I use the rubber ones and I'll use the carpet ones in the 59k truck.

It's great the tailgate has the soft close. I think the RWD one was different.

Fair question, maybe I should just get it. It is a deal to get 4.1 0-60, FSD and power share with a bed.

Is there really only 2 cupholders in the entire truck? We're Americans, we need cupholders. Our wives alone will have 4 water bottles....

There are so many aftermarket solutions for this! Fear not!

Yeah I'm really interested in the wade mode I hope it has it also Baja mode

SAWD does not come with floor mats. It was an option when ordering.

I doubt it is "soft close", but I'm hoping it has torsion assist like the other CTs where it doesn't feel like the talegate weighs 100lbs like my F150.

Adding another question to the end....

• Does the sound system have speakers in the rear doors? Yes
• Are the "tweeters" in the A-pillars real? I.e. does high frequency sound come out from the grills. Hint: take a paper towel tube with you and stick your ear up to it.
• Can you measure the height from ground to body at drivers door?
• Does it have Baja Mode? No Off-Road modes!
• Does it have Wade Mode? Think not since we don't have a compressor or height adjustable suspension. No Off-Road modes!
• Pictures with the headlights on, and with the turn signals on in front.
• Any child seat LATCH points in the center rear seat? Doesn't look like it from the photos.
• Does the SAWD come with floor mats? Does not.
• Does the tailgate open and close like the Premium models (dampened open and assisted close)? Confirmed the same as the PAWD.
• What is the offset of the steel wheels? Answered in the owner's manual, same as 20" at 58.5mm
• How do we engage the front locker? If we get one at all.

Are you sure the tailgate has soft close?

I am pretty sure it closed the final half inch or so on its own. Can confirm it doesn’t feel like it weighs 100lbs when you close. Also, confirmed missing the smuggler’s bay, L-track system, and LED light bar, but we were expecting these ommisions 🥲

Was on the holding lot and wouldn't let me see it. Delivery date now shows 5/31 - 6/3. Was showing 5/27-6/1.

Adding another question to the end....

• What is the offset of the steel wheels? This will be harder to find out since you may have to remove a wheel. Looking at the side-by-side video with the 20" wheels, it seems like the steel 18's have more poke, meaning the offset is less than the standard 58.5mm on the 20".
