$59k Base Dual-Motor AWD Cybertruck Begin Delivery!

My SAWD, ordered February 27 and projected for 2027 delivery, came up as ready to deliver last week while I was travelling. After confirming FSD was non-transferable, and that both the $250 and $100 (from an original Day 1 Cybertruck reservation that I had re-puporsed), I cancelled the order. Re-using the old reservation is the only reason I can think it came up so quickly.

Combined with Tesla $1k loyalty discount, it was a great deal, but I just don't need a second Cybertruck for at least another year, and trading down from the FSCB didn't make a lot of sense just to get a new vehicle with warranty.

All that to say, whoever is next in line in Austin may be getting a call later today that VIN 096665 is available. Hope it's your lucky day!

Hmm... I picked mine up last week and my VIN was 097xxx. Looks like someone is about to inherit VIN 09"666"5. Hopefully it's a lucky one!

All this waiting around for my VIN, I decided to add the terrestrial armor to my order. I do want to take it off road especially now watching some of the latest footage and don’t want any anxiety about the underbody so I went for it now to bake into my payment instead of later.

I know this is off topic but I figured I would post it here before offering else where.
I know the wheels shown in the picture are different. The one I have is the standard 2021 Model 3 Aero wheels with tires and the case (as shown). I got it as a spare but never used.
Don't own a Model 3 anymore and have no use for these, Just trying to clear up the garage.

Tesla just sent me a survey about my order and pickup experience.
One of the questions was, "How would you rate the communication from order to pickup?"
If they were expecting 5 stars... I may have disappointed them.
I only wish they'd included a comment box.

You're lucky you got your truck when you did cause VINs dried up soon after. I ordered same day as you but don't even have a Vin yet. I used ai to decode several sections of the json data that have recently populated number codes on my RN and every variation of the interpretation points to a factory containment of some sort due to either firmware update or general QC lock. I have a vehiclemapid #, a Z designation, and numbers associated with "order" field. I hope sawds dont get hit with the pawd delays but right now it seems like it. Unlike pawd, sawd orders don't have the luxury to cancel and reorder.

True. I absolutely consider myself lucky, not just with getting the CT, but in life in general. I've been blessed, and whenever something good happens to me, I try to pay it forward and do something positive for someone else.
That said, it doesn't change my opinion of Tesla's communication. Many of us ordered or converted our reservations in February, were told to expect June deliveries, and then heard virtually nothing for months.
That's the one question on the survey that earned a 1-star from me. Every other category got 5 stars.

I just took delivery of my cybertruck in Richmond, VA today. I think this is the first one here. Reserved on 02/20. No major issues. Had rear air vent panel loose and they said they will replace it. Other than that it is perfect. Rides great. Came with just 6 miles on it. Still getting used to the steering wheel. I am coming from Juniper model y and I feel sound system is pretty good comparatively. Has base but it is coming from the front. Not a deal breaker at all. Everything looks much better in person; seats look premium even with cloth(looks darker in real life), tires look great. Nothing feels like it was a huge downgrade. Bought floor mats, L-track and screen protector as of now. I will be installing L-track soon. Every time I look at the truck it makes me feel I bought an expensive truck but then when I remember I only spend 59K on this, makes me feel very happy. This group has been very supportive. I will post some pictures shortly. Hope everyone gets yours soon.
