Back in the day, those hammers and toilet seats were a way of hiding funds for “black” projects. Like wiretapping Soviet cables under water, or raising a Soviet sub.
It’s hard to tell from the video, but it looks to me like the front of the vault is recessed more into the cab, and that the rear seats can be seen through the opening. I’d say that a pass through was one of the most requested features. Anyone have thoughts?
My wife hates it. With a passion. However, since I started investing in Tesla stock to pay for it, and it’s doing very well, she might accept it, grudgingly. As long as I buy her a house or something…lol.
Each of those factories will produce around 500,000 per year, but if I’m not mistaken, that’s with one assembly line. I thought I saw somewhere that at least the Austin plant was big enough for four lines. As they perfect the line, they will add more.
Not sure how old you are, but I grew up without computers, and ended up repairing and troubleshooting them, and retired from an IT department several years ago. It’s never too late.
There was a rumor going about at one point that testing (probably from the prototype) showed an actual range of 569 miles. Which is very close to your revised estimate.
