Yup. If I wrecked my '24 CB, I'm 95% certain I'd replace it with another CB. The missing 5% is due to the urge to buy a used Model X, but the truck's utility would likely win out.
Anyway, I cannot rationally justify the CB, but I know I'd get another one. Like you said, it's nice knowing I...
I still keep a container of baby wipes (from the Costco pack) in the driver's side door pocket. Maybe a holdover from ye olde days of '24, but they sure are useful for wiping/cleaning everything.
I've been using Amica for the last few years and would recommend them. You can plug your info in on their home page and get an instant quote:

Over the last two days or so, I too have noticed the wide right turn thing. No FSD updates that were visible (still 14.2.2.5), but maybe they pushed a stealth update to the motion control layer or something. Very odd, as it's been driving really well for the last month or so.
On a short errand...
Even with the leaky tonneau and PCS failure, I'd by another CT in a minute if my Foundation CB got wrecked.
PCS was the only major issue, and they replaced it quickly with no questions asked. I am happy to pay the early adopter's tax for something as cutting edge (heh, literally) as the CT...
I wonder if having the truck synthetically "rev it's engine"/ play star trek red alert sound, and rock forward and back for the first few inches is enough to deal with this situation.
I think about it, too, after the waymo in SF ran over the cat that was hiding under it.
I didn't see your post, but I thought you got yours installed back before they added the brackets.
In any case, I see the brackets now and understand the installation.

Also means I need to pull the...
Do you mean they rivet to the cant rail? Do you know if they need to remove the cant rail to do the rivet? (I ask because it took an extra service visit to get my cant rails nicely aligned and I don't want them to misalign them again.)
Just got a message from Tesla (in the app) saying my light bar is available for installation. This is for a '24 beast, and I've been removing it from the service list every time I take it in for service for the last year or so as I never liked the glue and figured I'd wait to see what, if...
20xxx VIN, replaced at around 16k miles, IIRC. Was charged 90% of the time at home at 48A. FS beast.
Don't know if it's a confounding factor, but powershare (home backup) was used multiple times due to power outages in my area.
