Oh yeah, mine, and many others do the same. There's a post in here somewhere about it and I followed this guys post and youtube fix. Worked great. I'm almost 100% dry with only very minor leaks in top front corners, which I'll fix on a warmer weekend. I see the last bits where it's leaking...

I agree. I’m 53 and loved my Model 3 for 4 years but this is even cooler. Driving experience is amazing. Really enjoying this truck.

Dang it. Hate hearing that. I wish they could just quickly swap and move on. My sons 2017 S had a rear unit swapped almost same day, was quick. You have many other issues besides drive unit? I have several cosmetic items.

I’ve read the same. Said if you don’t have to get trim fixed, don’t. Sometimes comes out worse lol

I have an appointment December 9 and the tech I showed it to said they have been having lots of customers with same issue. He said they’ll just pop the dash of and fix it.

Very nice to hear this was the issue. I have exact sound and suspicion of the drive unit. Tech drove with me, heard it, didn’t think it was the unit but I think it is. He said they’ll figure it out. I have appt December 9.

Just as a follow up, I had a drive earlier. Can confirm that, for me, at 40mph and above, it parks at bottom like you mentioned, every single time. Under 40, it'll return home immediately after depressing button on wheel. Thanks for heads up on this. I feel it's working as intended.

I need to try mine out some more, but mine also parks in the down position, randomly. I have it on an upcoming service ticket so sounds like easy to fix I guess.

Hi, does anyone know how to remove the dash, maybe lift it up, just above the steering wheel? I circled where I can hear a prominent rattle. Don't think it's the steering column as others have mentioned as it's higher than that, right in the circled area. Thank you.

I popped the top maintenance panel off and it’s not brake fluid as the brake reservoir is on right. This reservoir on the left just seemed like maybe spillage when they added? Anyone know which reservoir that is so I can let Tesla tech know?
