New car models will always vary wildly among carriers until they have more data.
I got quotes from $800-$1700 6mo for my CT. Half the providers didn’t even have it in their system yet.
That is generic copy. Look at the MVPA they are using, says 2022, predates the CT release. Though odd it does have the no resale bit so who knows. I would confirm, but doubt it is an issue.
I think we see Foundation until sales/conversion rates start to fall off then they will drop to $80k base, but what we dont yet know is what is the cost of the 35s and the "white" interior and the base trim or if there are any other hidden options the current truck has like Powershare...
Will also note there are many people that ordered multiple. I did the same not knowing which they would launch with so I did one of each just in case they decided to prioritize by people who had reserved a specific trim. So as of right now, only one of my per-orders hit even though they are...
That’s not how Tesla operates. Typically you only have a few days to take delivery once it arrives and especially at end of quarter where they need everything that can be delivered to be delivered. Even though they had no ETA on the part, they seem to think that there is a small chance they get...
They have had since Saturday to notice and resolve the issue. I’m just the convenient fall guy for why they are now going to miss an end of quarter delivery goal that they can instead now blame on the customer. Watch I get reassigned the same VIN once it’s repaired next week.
Yeah, I have no idea how we have no ETA on when we will have the part, but you must take delivery by Saturday or we give it to somebody else works exactly if it’s too unsafe to drive right now.
Now I get the joy of unraveling all of the payment and insurance stuff.
thankfully, I haven’t traded...
it’s some cover for some high voltage thing in the bed apparently. Asked if they could take one from another one, and they said no.
What baffles me is that I was told that there’s no ETA for the part, but that I must take delivery by Saturday. Which is it?
Welp, no truck tomorrow for me. Brought it in to prep and some part is missing. They have no ETA on the part, but also it must be delivered by Saturday. And since I leave for a trip tomorrow night it’s on me and I get put back in line. Meanwhile the check was sent, insurance added and prepaid ?
No point in providing specific numbers due to so many variables, but Progressive in NJ was 60% of the quote I got from Geico for identical coverage.
Also to note, the CT was 20% more than my R1S.
