Did the hansshow v1 but I probably installed it about 3 times. I waited on a better camera housing and a better route to the rear tonneau aplique.
Feedback -
1. Use the factory screw and have patience - your fighting against gravity.
2. Have a friend hold the mirror while you wire up...
Yeah you can just unplug the video, swap the rear. Snaps into place so takes a little muscle to pop both ends.
Mine was VIN 177xx so I don’t think anything changed minus the quick release hardware for the cybertent.
The rear Tonneau Aplique is like $52 or so. I only know this after I scratched the plastic that holds the brush and wanted to get a replacement. I didn’t expect to get the whole back plate, weather stripping, and the plastic brush. 2 T30 hold it in unless you modify it to the quick release...
Ramp handy for spare tire loading, mowers etc. I just put some foam on where it mates up to the tail gate to cover impacts. One ramp is ~750lb max load, folds and like $138 for the set at home depot.
I was looking around for limits I had to pull a stuck U-haul that was essentially one wheel drive in clay and could not get traction. I ended p using the recovery points as I did not have a hitch and it did ok. Box truck was around 8600lbs and we just went super slow.
I didn't want to risk...
The rear camera mount superior in the rain too. Better than staring out a wet rear window or the factory camera on the tail gate.
System update went ok via my MacBook. I've had put a 128GB stick in this inadvertently, and I think they mention a max of 64GB. 128GB still worked, but I think it...
I’ve had it happen in the CT and in my M3, I suspect at least for me it was GPS issues. I even saw the M3 thinks its feet over from where it really is, but it clears up. Feel like it’s same with my drone. Says 4 our of X sats available and may be inaccurate. And I’ve even had FSD disabled...
I think DirtyTesla on YouTube had a similar bend in his rear quarter panel. It was like $2700 installed. Looks like you also have some tail light and sail action to fix too so maybe a bit more.
Looks like things got pushed a bit but doubt your casting is part of it.
I did the DIY Detail metal ceramic, but honestly it tarnished the stainless (yellow/orange) so I pulled that back a bit with Citrisurf 77. Now I seem to have the benefit of less finger prints a decent new look and from this point forward have mainly just used Sprayway (non-ammonia) glass...
Banked on having a spread of Liquid Propane (Water heater, stove, dryer, furnace) then fireplace. Keeps the house more like a a 800-1200w up and down with just basic freezer/Fridge(s) demand and stretches it out a bit.
Nice if that Gateway is future proof to a degree for solar/powerwalls.
Just...
My only attempt at combating them was:
1. Mothballs - they smell like crap but seemed to keep them out.
2. Metal screens in some key areas
3. Traps and bait/poison around the area
4. Pepper spray like you'd put on a plant not like the hard core stuff hah
5. Nuclear option - enclose the carport...
thanks, mine started doing this yesterday. I actually cleaned the wiper blade, but haven’t had a chance to retest. Missed the whole middle of the windshield down, but caught it going back.
Wild, I had the APP_w142 pop up after several rains but I had also installed a rear view mirror screen and it would come and go. I got worried I messed up the cameras in the windshield some how. I cleaned the facia camera and so far 50 miles without it coming back.
I just got the APP_w142 error. Trying to clear camera calibration. Feel like this was post my attempt of the Hansshow rear view mirror screen which I abandoned after noticing his difficult the install would be. I’m hoping this isn’t another service visit as I didn’t really touch the front...
I’m yanking mine. Connection where the screw goes in not super flush, slightly wiggles.. Level 10 install. Very easy to mess up GPS and that torx screw is impossible to get to. Gravity working against you. I couldn’t even get the mirror to really sit flat with the screw tightened down. At...
