Yes, ran it for 28hrs ~ 2200mi driving and misc parking stops hiking in the middle of nowhere so Sentry worked.
even in a power station I only see it pulling 24-28w. Iām running the Mini Roam 50GB plan. Only thing I can think of is cold weather may trigger snow melt mode.
The mini worked well on my 2200mi trip from eastern WA up to Calgary and Banff. In the way you mounted to the back glass it can struggle up hills going north. South I had no issues. Also you can get a 5mm to USB-C cable on Amazon. I just ran it behind the back seat and under my weather mat...
Yeah I'd just shut out the noise - $80K+ Trucks and everyone's trying to compare it to $60K trucks. The things they want do not currently exist unless they go used. Pain of having interest but then seeing the car payment or quoting prices from 5 years ago. Much like the Model Y back in...
Cool, yeah that was going to be my plan B to keep my garage/shop online if my PowerShare install got too pricy. For me it was a mix of updating the wall connector run, un-jiggering 1971 common/ground and the electrictian even found one of my main leads done in the 80ās was just resting on the...
That wouldnāt work if itās Saturday and you crank it to 90-100% and want it when you leave.
I had to check sat and sun, then tell it to start 5am then stop 8am.
Would be far easier to just set the desired SoC by the time and let it sort it out.
This features bugged me for 5 years.
I basically set the charge limit. Take note of the time to charge. Then have to back track a schedule that means (for example) stopping it from charging on Saturday so at 8am Sunday it charges say from 5-8am.
I have no idea why this can just auto perform...
Yeah I have used ChatGPT voice in the past to get a destination charger at a hotel. I just wish for the world where we have it all fully integrated but so much easier than trying to locate one via manual search. And at least it gives you a link to knock it out for now.
I have used the plug repair if itās a nail or a screw. But after I get where I am going Iād pop the wheel off and have a shop plug if if itās in a safe spot. Too close the the edge I would just order a 10/32 or so tread tire off utires.com and get that mounted later and use it as a way to save...
gateway uses comm wires to communicate with truck is my understanding.
gateway detects grid outage. Wakes truck. Handshakes and truck delivers power.
Mine just went out again. I also hear sirens so it might be man vs pole.
Cool. The electrician told me there were cases where after the gateway was enabled they had to have customers reset it. This is why they covered the Tesla One app https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tesla-one/id1625770308
With me. I only used it once to look at things but I never had an issue so far.
Yeah I definitely did not have the PowerShare button in the truck until the work was completed and approved.
via the Tesla one app I was able to pair with the gateway and see a lot of the paperwork, pictures etc. So unless anythingās changed since November Iām sure itās a step.
To my knowledge the electrician turned in papers via the Tesla One app along with all the inspection fun. Someone throws a switch on Tesla's side that pushes a software update to the gateway and the truck then you get that "button" in the Cybertruck.
After that I flipped it on, then manually...
