Recently had both drove units replaced due to a vibration from 40-50mph. First thing I noticed when driving it for the first time was my side mirror no longer vibrated. Apparently I couldn’t always feel the motor vibration but it translated to the mirror at all speeds.

Just picked up my truck from service they replaced both drive units and there is zero vibration now between 40 and 50 mph or on the interstate

Same issue on my dual motor. They are replacing both motors right now.

Update on my #60xx vin that has been in service for a couple weeks. They originally were set to replace the rear drive unit but have since updated me saying Tesla engineering wants both drive units swapped. ETA for completion is next Monday the 5th. Not sure how I feel about a complete...

Word today from engineering is replace the rear motor unit.

Mine's been in service for a week for this issue. They had to order some kind of vibration testing kit. Results were sent to engineering and now I wait. Hoping they figure it out for everyone.

I read on here the other day that some early serial number trucks were being emailed and asked about getting an improved motor unit. My guess is the regen vibration is likely something in the motor unit. Although they supposedly disabled my front and rear motors independently and test drove...

@LouisvilleBeast also has this issue. I've been talking to him. He had his who front motor and half shafts replaced if I remember correctly and it didn't fix the issue.

I had the same issue. I took it to service and it no longer binds but I wouldn't call it straight when it closes. Always seems to close faster on the passenger side.
