I'm guessing around 1,500 to 2,000 lbs of rock. The plastic probably didn't do much except make me feel better and make it easier to clean out sand but make walking around the bed a challenge.
Maybe not a 'truck' thing but a 'Cybertruck' thing. Lost power after a storm. Started with refrigerators and freezers then on to media closet and computers. Can't wait until Power Share becomes a reality. Any bets on which will come first between FSD and Power Share?
I stopped by Home Depot and picked up the Unger kit mentioned previously in this thread. My observation compared to the (unfortunately discontinued and hard to find) Windex kit I mentioned previously was that the handle, even when retracted was a bit too long and the head a bit to thick to get...
I'll know more when they take the plastic shroud off, but based on feeling around it appears to be metal and hopefully will be in good enough shape when they open it up.
Wish I could trade places with you! I had a Model 3 for 2 years and a Model Y for 4 years and not a ding on either of them. Never been the cause of an accident for 45 years of driving. It does remind me though of my daughter hitting my Avalanche with the spare tire mount on her Jeep though.
The Cybertruck plus about 2 feet more.... But, I hadn't cleared all the way to the back. Will be clearing and adding indicators to target and leave some wiggle room.
When showing off the ability for my CT to raise and lower in my garage (tight fit where I back in to a few inches of the wall) a piece of scrap wood behind the truck at just the right height tipped under the back bumper. While the suspension was lowering to entry height we heard a loud pop and...
I think they velcro or something to a bar under the seat so probably stay in place.
How do you figure $250 x 2?
If you have any links to 1/4 the price I'd love to check them out. $250 x 1 seems a bit steep for what they are based on some youtube reviews.
After writing the above, I reached out to HeatShield and they sent me these as well as coupon code SPRING24 which is good for 10% off from 3/29 to 4/2. Bummer they don't have referral/affiliate links =( https://www.heatshieldstore.com/car-window-shades/2024-tesla-cybertruck-crew
If anybody has a sunshade (particularly the HeatShield one talked about here) please post pictures of the shade collapsed, opened, and in a Cybertruck if you have one.
Thanks!
Before trying the Windex device I had ordered (but not yet received) the XINDELL one but given that it only pivots on one axis, I'm not very confident but at $16 it's worth a try. I bought a different one previously at walmart that was a little shorter.
It also occurs to me that these might...
It doesn't seem to have been implemented based on the noise level I've experienced and my understanding that the 'anti-noise' speakers need to near one's head. I'm not seeing any evidence of it in my CT.
I bought one of the wands previously mentioned. Didn't work great. Still a bit short and not stiff enough. Then I remembered I bought a couple of wands for cleaning our outside glass. For inside I used two or three sections and was able to reach well (wrapped a microfiber around it and it has...
I get the impression that all delivery centers have not received the full training, tools, and products needed to do the seven step process. A friend and I got early deliveries from the Jacksonville center (around the time that Kyle at Out of Spec got his) and they all show signs of what I...
