Something wonderful happened to my CT. It now drives in the center of the lane! WOW! What a relief, and what a great experience. This is like magic. It seems more like a human driving now, as it moves ever so slightly to the correct side of the lane when traveling around corners, passing, or...
I am impressed with everyone's austerity while driving. After 11,000 miles, my average is 442 Wh/mi. That includes all the town driving, no towing, everything turned off that can be. I traverse a lot of mountains, ranging 4500' to 9,000' regularly. Today's drive was 540 Wh/mi, but 480 is more...
Definitely more quiet than my Expedition and my F150. Ford has that "quiet glass", so both of those are quiet compared to most vehicles. My CT is super quiet below 85 mph, not even loud then, just more noticeable at top speed. I keep the fan on level 2. Racks make a little noise when going fast...
My next experiment will be to enhance some holes slightly, plug some holes at the top, and use a rainX type product for 1ft^2 near the front camera. The purpose of this is to improve driver visibility, so I can drive...))) The war-of-the-wiper with the front camera is beyond my control, but...
Reset Trip B, and watch power usage as you drive to see your actual rate; remain under 850 kw-h/mi. If you run low, you can slow all the way to 35 mph for best efficiency.
I plotted power usage vs trailer weight and velocity for about 20 members that reported this in the trailer section of the...
You describe my situation perfectly. FSD needs to address two main issues:
1) Stay in the lane (center!)
2) Better velocity control (follow human commands).
I am confident it will improve. My model 3 performs in an excellent manner.
(Below - drifting into oncoming traffic.)
Maybe not understanding your response, and it is not my video. Based on the way that FSD drives for me, I have no reason to doubt this behavior. I take it as fair warning to be ultra cautious when pedestrians are near.
Solar shower; small ones work much better - lighter, easier to support. Half gallon is plenty for a shower, including the hair, so a one gallon solar shower size is ideal. Heat water with an induction stove (3 cups), and you are good to go. You have the option to solar heat the water, but this...
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It does appear that the car veered directly at the pedestrian, as you stated. It is one thing for FSD to not foresee a collision with a pedestrian, but it is entirely another to be targeting them.
Thank you for confirming the pump delivery volume. We all appreciate this.
1 oz fluid per swipe from the source, that is a lot; the pump motor and pipe capacity seems more than enough, assuming the pressure is designed correctly to reach the top of the blade.
It remains to analyze the holes in...
Works in the rain, since the windshield juice is unnecessary.
Does not work in dirty snow and slush conditions because the fluid is too weak.
FSD action is annoying, since the camera and driver points of view are different. SQUEAK SQUEAL SQUEAK.
Similar note - has anyone else noticed that FSD now switches randomly between Chill /Normal /Hurry? It just started today. I say randomly, because it happens all the time during driving. It seems whatever mode I am in, it moves around to something else. AI probably has a reason for the choices...
The holder looks useful to move around too. Send us a photo when it is filled with rods, and from the side - I would like to see your attack angle. Plus, a lot of fishing rods just look cool. Have you considered raising the forward two legs a little so the rods sit in a more inclined stance? It...
This begs the question: How much fluid is the CT designed to deliver? Does anyone see a way to run a "piss test"? Something so we could all make the same measurement, and thus diagnose if the hose is kinked, or the holes plugged, or the fluid viscosity too great, or whatever.
Temps are below...
Lots of opinions about flats on this website, so I will offer mine. I do drive offroad for a living, but I keep it as gentle as I can. I am typically 40 miles or farther from pavement, and 100+ from services. I drove offroad across northern Siberia several times, in -40F weather, and used the...
