I hope Tesla adds this "squat" mode to the menu for simplicity. Excellent for loading/unloading, or spreading gravel and such. Just limit speed to like 5mph, so someone could be driving really slow while you were shoveling in the back.
I'm debating how I'm going to haul my 17.5 ft canoe on Cybertruck. Usually, canoes are transported gunwale side down. No prob on my 4Runner which I strap down on to horizontal racks, and then for good measure, I tie down the bow and stern to prevent catastrophe from a wind gust. I just can't...
Looks great, and I love the custom fit. Just wondering...does it have an air pump that will keep the mattress pressure at 10psi all night to account for temp changes or small holes?
6 AWG copper THHN in conduit is all you need. 10AWG copper THHN for the ground. That's what I ran for my 60 amp breaker, and it passed code with flying colors. Remember, it has to be THHN in conduit, no romex at that guage.
Thanks for the excellent writeup! Your comments on the annoying noisemaker as you were trying to position the trailer late at a campground would absolutely bug me. Needless noise pollution. I will HAVE to find a way to manually disconnect that in those situations. Safeway parking lot, who...
A 5-15 outlet is probably fed with 14 AWG wire. For a 30 amp breaker you need at least 10 AWG. Look at the wire size difference. WAY too big a risk for fire if you did this.
I like your thinking. It's a truck, not a Rolls Royce. I have a 4000PSI pressure washer and was wondering about that. I would NEVER use that kind of pressure on a paint job, but I was wondering how it would work on CT. I can always lower the pressure be swapping nozzles.
H*** no. I would pay extra for that...and all the scratches on the mirrors and plastic part from 4wheeling to boot. I'm not gonna treat this like I do my Model 3.
Excellent and well thought-out reasons for siding with CT, especially from a current CT owner. Also, super thanks for your insights on off-road adventures with CT.
