My issues with speed limits:
Signs that say "30 kmh when flashing" cause the truck to go 30 regardless of flashing, sometimes for very long stretches.
3 hours on a 110 kmh highway with 110 signs posted regularly and every sign was seen by the truck as 70.
As mentioned previously, if there's...
I suspect Tesla uses as their metric the frequency of disengagements and changes in aggregated ratio of FSD use vs non FSD use per driver to determine if features like this are working.
Lack of direct speed control on FSD is definitely a safety issue: if you want to go slower than the speed...
I've had this issue for a very long time. The vehicle is connected to Wi-Fi while in my garage - it can update, I can manually type in addresses to the navigation, music streams, etc - but voice command don't work 90% of the time. I press the button, start speaking a navigation destination, no...
Mine took me to the mall the other day and it was quite busy. The truck scoured the parking lot in ever widening circles until it found a spot. It pulled in nose first too. The whole thing was pretty wild.
Edit: it did a 3 point turn to get out, too!
My understanding (and I stand to be corrected on this) is that infrared, or maybe a combination of infrared and camera, is used to monitor the driver's eyes. Maybe your sunglasses block IR?
Because I break or lose so many pairs of sunglasses, I buy the cheapest I can find. They barely block...
The same day I got 14.1.7 my Cybertruck was in for service to get the snow tires on and, without being asked, they cleaned the forward windshield camera and glass. Maybe that's why my results have so improved.
Yours looks mighty cloudy to me. Worth having them clean it (there was no charge in...
Here's some quick early feedback on how 14.1.7 has addressed the issues I experienced with 13.2.9.
To be clear, FSD is magical - it feels a bit ridiculous to nitpick about a car that drives itself. Really, this is about measuring the delta between present state and full autonomy.
My original...
I'm not sure either. To be clear: FSD is *very* good - I've used it on many long road trips, and I use it day to day for almost all trips. But the issues I've listed could use improvement. I'm going to calibrate the cameras as you suggest.
I applied the update a couple of days ago. Here's what hasn't changed or gotten worse:
I've had more safety interventions in the last two days than the previous two months, including the truck twice trying to use a lane into oncoming traffic. I'd gotten so comfortable with it's safety that...
Perhaps the reason why people might get the wrong impression and wonder what the actual point of your post was is that it's just a one paragraph general complaint with no specifics, no particular issue, no explanation of your experience. Just "Tesla service bad!" and some foot stomping. You then...
...Tesla Service is so bad that we try to avoid it at all costs. We try to do it ourselves. Put off service, hoping they will get it right by the time we take our trucks in for service. Avoid service lest they break something else. Live with minor issues to avoid having our trucks returned with...
Are you saying you're complaining about *other* people's bad experiences rather than your own?
For my part, every service experience I've had (only a few) has been excellent, and very much better than my BMW service experiences. That's not universally true, of course - there's variance in...
I'm a bit confused: I've had the ability on Android to view the B pillar cameras in live view for quite some time, but they don't activate in sentry and can't be viewed in recordings. Has that changed? Is sentry now using those (I sure hope so - I hate the blind spots)?
If it's like my similar incident, there was no pitting or other indication of outside impact and the radial cracks could be felt on the inside but not on the outside. Tesla diagnosed it as a failure of the glass, and replaced it under warranty.
What a dick.
A forum search would have found my identical issue:
https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/radial-break-in-windshield.35312/#post-30495362
Identical to mine - couldn't feel it at all on the outside. I drove with it like that for 2 weeks until Tesla was able to replace it under warranty. I kept waiting for the glass to blow into the cabin with the wind pressure at speed but it was fine. Tesla was great about it all.
