...Tesla Service is so bad that we try to avoid it at all costs. We try to do it ourselves. Put off service, hoping they will get it right by the time we take our trucks in for service. Avoid service lest they break something else. Live with minor issues to avoid having our trucks returned with a more significant problem. Funny, not funny!

I've been using Tesla Service for 8 years, over 5 different Tesla (we still have 4 of them, two of them 8 years old). They always take good care of me and rarely charge me for anything. When they do it's very reasonable. They have never broken anything that I know of (if they did, they fixed it before returning it).

I actually love visiting Tesla Service and I can't say that about any dealership I've done business with over the years. I would rather get teeth pulled, at least the dentist provides drugs for the pain!

In fairness, like most things, it's not ALL bad. I'm basing my statement on posts on this forum.

It’s not Tesla, it’s society. Service is bad one way or another at most dealerships in this day.

No more mechanics, just techs and service advisors.

Goes both ways, took my 65 Impala in to Chevy Good wrench for oil change and they broke my shifter, cracked the oil filter housing, and turn blinker handle off. Other end of spectrum had a Ford Lighting, and it was in service seven times for electrical, they started throwing papers in the air and rolling their eyes last few time I brought it in.

Very sad. 😞

I m Tesla owner since 2017. Actually have a model X 2018 and a cybertruck. I m very happy with the service center. ALWAYS. It s one of the reasons I will never go back to ICE cars. I understand they are not always that way with all situation but I don't think is fair to say that they are so bad.

Service varies wildly, depending on the quality of your local service center.

There you go! After a horrible experience in one location, I started using a service center approximately 35 miles away and service has been great.
And again, the statement is based on post here on this forum. You read enough you will find the alternatives listed.
Fortunately or unfortunately, if that sign says Tesla Service Center, they're representing... wait for it... Tesla.

Are you saying you're complaining about *other* people's bad experiences rather than your own?

For my part, every service experience I've had (only a few) has been excellent, and very much better than my BMW service experiences. That's not universally true, of course - there's variance in everything, and forum posts will disproportionately favor bad experiences. But for me it's been exceptional dealing with Tesla service.

Not complaining, observing...

They are bad and expect you do be fine with work like this? They are crazy and need to do better. I told them they better fix it like I had it before and if they don't they better figure out how they are buying the truck back... Cantrail recall by the way...

Ya, clearly an observation and not a complaint...

Yes, observation. However, I do reverse my right to complain.
