I would really like to disable this curvature assistant in my CT, but trying to contact Tesla about it only gets crickets or a suggestion to try another name for it.
I'm sure this is a rear ender accident waiting for the right opportunity.
I think the name for the cruise control now is Autopilot. Either way, it's the mode I put my CT in that keeps the speed the same, but not FSD.
Anyway, I can't figure this one out nor do I know if there's anything to figure out.
When I'm driving along in Autopilot and have to hit the brakes, I...
yeow. I read through most of the posts on that link.
I hope this issue with mine is just the pollen on the outside. Having to go through all that disassembly once a month or so will be a deal breaker and that truck will go on the auction block.
This is kinda strange. it thinks my windshield needs cleaning on the inside?
It might be from when they installed a new windshield about a month ago. Probably didn't clean up as good as it should have been.
On the other hand, I don't know. I guess I'll have to schedule an appointment to find out...
I'm inclined to think this is some kind of solution applied to the plastic parts of the truck.
Is it a grease kind of base, abrasive, flammable, microbiological based that repairs itself or what? or what-what?
I did two DDs before buying mine. They were almost a year apart. The rep gave me 30 minutes of self driving by myself. The AotF was impressive but that was more out of curiosity than a requirement to buy. I had a bit of difficulty for the whole DD with the TS as there was no TSS only the SWBs.
Back on the main topic though, people tell me, or warn me that Cybertrucks usually catch fire. I usually tell em there's a good possibility but Tesla is working on a system to provide fire extinguishers for those instances so a cross country trip won't be interrupted to bad.
You have been making quite a few statements about the oil industry that could have only come from meetings within the big oil industry meetings. Do you have any meeting minutes or directives from within any of the oil corporations to corroborate your claims?
yep, twice for me.
First time was with my Y Model. Driving to Detroit from Virginia. I missed a charge point just east of Toledo exit but thought I had seen a charge point north near the Michigan border. I was wrong and the closest charge point was back on the Turnpike, east of Toledo. I arrived...
I drove the CB and yeah,, it's impressive, but my intent for a truck is to charge with my solar panel system, haul stuff and occasionally pull a trailer a hundred miles or so. Not into being an attention gainer, especially to the po-po.
I haven't flown anywhere since a few years before I retired in 2018. People would fly to meet me at my office. Since then, I would drive just for the pleasure of driving cross country, i.e. Virginia to west coast or points in between. My greatest ambition for driving is to chase trains. Model...
85? seriously?
If I drove 85, even merging onto the freeway momentarily, I would be looking for a new insurance policy. I have Alstate and they want me to use their safe driver app. They know my every move.
Finally, this issue is closed. I canceled the order from Tesloid and placed an order with Tesla Shop. The Tesla Shop order arrived today and I installed them while the UPS driver was checking out the truck. These fit more securely than the previous set that I had, which were actually for the...
I just noticed this a day or so ago.
When I signal for a right or left turn or lane change, the rear view camera image on the screen changes to the camera view from the side I'm turning toward.
I know I might be a bit slow on the up take, but I think this is a recent software update.
