Right. My iPhone charges just fine on my Qi desktop mount and on my Model 3. The common denominator in all this is the CT charger.

The Commander unit fixes this kind of thing but not available for CT yet.

Standard Auto Pilot covers most of my normal use cases. Disappointing that Tesla will not offer that for CT.

Based on the recent Model S/X extremely incremental "updates" - you won't be missing much of any utility if you wait for the next version.
