Same as a lot of others (which is great to see): I use FSD 90-95% if the time. There are times when I don’t use it because I want to drive the Cybertruck or I want to get through the backroads quicker.

In speaking with a Tesla rep during a recent service center visit, I learned that FSD can be bought at any time after purchasing a Cybertruck. With an $8k price tag, it definitely adds lot to the final price of the vehicle. How often do you use FSD? 1-10, mostly never to every time you drive.

Autopilot seems to work just fine for the use case of keeping one's lane and reducing driving fatigue on the highway. Wondering what the community's thoughts were.
I use it ALL the time and my wife uses it more than me..LOL. There are 2 ways to get out of my neighborhood to travel in the same direction. I let the car decide which is quicker and let it take me.

ALL THE TIME! This includes around town and highway. I drive a 2018 M3 and have had it from the beginning. FSD has come a long way since then. My wife gets in her Model Y and has FSD take her to work and home EVERY day. When we bought her new Y, we "rented" FSD by paying a monthly fee of $99. After doing that for a year, they offered it to us for a one time $2000 purchase. That was a no-brainer. Her car has a H4 computer and mine was upgraded about 5 yrs ago from H2.5 to 3. But I really can't tell the difference between her FSD and mine. Although, Musk says V14 is supposed to start pushing out today. She will get it. I won't. Can't wait to see the difference.

I adopted a puppy, and then another one. They got along great, until they didn't, and one day were trying to kill each other. I couldn't get them separated since each one was latched onto the others' hide. So I put one hand in one mouth, one hand in the other mouth, and pulled them apart with all my might. The dogs had minor injuries, and I had a torn rotator cuff.

That was 20 years ago, but I'd recently been doing some heavy lifting and aggravated it. The sharp pain prevents me from extending my right arm in front of me, as one would when holding a steering wheel.

So, very grateful for FSD, but I still can't use the touchscreen lol
I get it. My right has had 4 surgeries over the years and it's my strongest. An SUV hit my motorcycle most of the left side was torn apart and held together with metal and it makes a huge difference. When I'm out Off-roading for a few hours both shoulders are hurting so FSD is the bomb for this 71 year old..

For me FSD is really only usable on freeway with moderate + congestion. I find myself more anxious because I am expecting errors, which do happen typically per drive.

Fiddled with my TACC settings and found a sweet spot where it flows through traffic without hard braking, which is present with FSD. It has been more relaxing.

So ya works about 60% of the time!

Eagerly awaiting v14

Never used it. I enjoy driving this thing too much. Fear of the unknown (such as will it try to stay at the chronically wrong "speed limit" it perceives?) supersedes any curiosity I might have.
