So last night I was driving home from a baseball game and a couple thoughts occurred to me. It was dark out and my wife and I counted 10 near misses with deer. Typically you keep your high beams on to see the deer better.
With the CT, the entire front of the truck is a headlight. I'm...
My wife already hates the CT and I haven't even got it yet. She thinks it's ugly. REALLY hoping there are features that she will like. She doesn't like going fast in our boat either, so I can about imagine how this is going to go....:D:D
I keep trying to throw out cool things every once in a...
Hey Shannon,
I'm close by ya. New Hampton. I ordered the dual motor. Not too many of us in the area that have one ordered. Just though I'd touch base.
Anyhow, I'm curious....does the CT come with a charger? Or do you have to buy it separately? Curious also about what it would cost to...
Remember that this IS stainless steel, but there also appears to be another "ingredient" in this secretive exoskeleton. I have to believe that Elon has already thought this "rusting" thing through. I could be wrong, but Elon has over a 150 IQ. :)
I guess my point is more of the fact that it won't damage easily. I mean if you can take a sledge hammer to it and not dent....the odds of doing any repairs is slim to none from a vehicle damage standpoint.
Say for example if you hit a deer. It's going to be a really bad day for the deer and...
I have a hard time believing that. You would think the safer the vehicle, the cheaper the insurance is. I wonder if Tesla Insurance would have it cheaper?
I'm not sure how cheap insurance is on the current Tesla vehicles, but I'm thinking the CT will be pretty cheap insurance. The body won't dent, the glass is bullet proof, tons of safety features, the vault will provide security as it will be tough to break into, and the current Tesla vehicles...
According to Munro, the CT will be able to be produced WAY faster than the RAM or the F-150 because of fewer components and a technologically advanced production line. According to some websites I've seen, there were 900,000 F-150's made in 2019. I'm guessing Tesla could produce arount 1.5...
This may sound strange, but my final purchase decision was completely based on a successful launch of the SpaceX Dragon. I figure if they can build a space craft that puts people in space....imagine what the Cybertruck will be like and how well it will be put together. I pulled the trigger...
Why can't this be a thing?
The battery puts the vehicle in motion. While in motion, why can't the wheel generate electricity and recharge the battery?
I've got a radio at home that can charge by the sun as well as charge by turning the hand crank.
If the Cybertruck has an issue and you are broke down on the side of the road, what do you think the response time will be? I know the plan is to have a repair vehicle come to you, but that could take a while depending on where the vehicle is coming from. I don't know about you guys, but my...
I was watching a movie last night and there was an EMP blast that took out all the electronics. Does an EMP fry circuit boards?
I'm not sure how that works, but would it be possible to have EMP protection on the Cybertruck in case that happened? That would be really awesome if it did. I'm...
I'm not sure it will have paint options. The exoskeleton is dent proof and if you smack the side of it with something it will leave a mark of some sort. Unless they have scratch proof paint....lol.
