My rationale is similar. I am looking at the cost of the Cybertruck as the money I would spend on the next two vehicles I would need to purchase and maintain.
I hope to take a tour of the Tesla facility when I pick up my Cybertruck. Hopefully the tour provides some insight into the whole manufacturing process to include the cutting and folding of the stainless steel.
It was a well thought out explanation about why the Cybertruck is a better all around vehicle. What he failed to mention was the Cybertruck is also faster than the Ford GT in the 0-60 time.
Your future Cybertruck would have handled all of those situations. Yeah. It is going to be that versatile. I really look forward to driving mine around and comparing its features with other 'trucks'.
The first deliveries of the Model Y have already started ahead of schedule. We may find this to be also true when Cybertrucks start being delivered. As you pointed out, there is no paint; that is going to save a lot of time.
Production capacity in California is going to increase as more of the giga factory in China is brought to full capacity. This means production out of California can focus on the domestic market rather than the global market. Hopefully, the new factory in Germany is able to start production as...
The take away from this is there is a huge demand for clean technology trucks. The number of orders will force the legacy automobile and truck manufacturers to adopt the electrification of transport. IF they do not they will become footnotes in the pages of history books in the same way that...
While I do not like the idea of having to wait three years, I think it will be worth the wait. I hope to save enough to pay for most of the Cybertruck tri-motor; an additional year may allow me to pay for it outright. Debt free Cybertruck would be super sweet.
The best part of my Cybertruck experience is dreaming about the epic road trip I will take after picking it up from the factory in California. In the meantime, you can access high resolution videos and pictures through the press kit link on the Tesla website.

I also plan on going to California to take delivery of my Cybertruck. I am selling the idea to my family as an "epic road trip". It will be epic because it will be their first coast-to-coast trip in a vehicle. I plan on going to Yosemite, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and all of the other fun and...
I do not need a truck everyday; I do need it at least once a month. It is a bit tricky loading things into the back of a Prius. In the spring time I go to the garden center and load up with bags of mulch and manure. Then I head back to the garden center to pick up flats of flowers. Then I get to...
Airstream eh? That is going to look really good behind your Cybertruck. Of all the camper trailers on the market, I have always (even since childhood) thought the Airstream was beautifully built.
I just subscribed to Jay Leno's garage so that I will be informed when the Cybertruck episode gets posted. I think it is super cool that he and Elon share a passion for great automotive engineering and that we are going to see more of the Cybertruck in action.
According to the Lego site,
"This [Tesla Cybertruck] project qualifies for the First 2020 Review, which includes projects that reach 10,000 supporters between early January 2020 and early May 2020. For more information about the LEGO review process, please see the Project Guidelines and House...
If you look at the Buddy's reservation number of RN 112778622 and then subtract it from RN 113193076 one can infer that the Cybertruck may have preorders fast approaching 500K. That is really cool.
