OK but they've told me a few times that I should be able to use Powershare without a Gateway, just with the backup switch, Powerwall 3 and solar. But I've seen some posts stating that you do not need a universal EV charger if you're using Powershare with a Powerwall 3 but that hasn't been...
The current state of Powershare?
An update was finally released but this is only for folks that got a isolated Universal EV charger and Gateway 3-?, they can now use Powershare correct?
Folks that had/get a system with Powerwall 3 and solar cannot currently use Powershare? I saw someone post...
Thanks for the info.
The project manager did say they were going to go back to their management and see if they could do anything about moving the credit over but my guess is that they're just going to tell them no again. It was really upsetting to find this out after spending all this time...
I've seen a couple of posts where it stated that you must have the code that they sent you in an email when you actually check out the purchase from the store.
Okay, it does show the credit there. But I think it's been a year so is that a thing or not?
I still think it's interesting that I never got a message in the app or an email regarding it. What's the best thing to buy and then try to resell and not lose out on 50% of it? I still don't...
The only thing that comes up in the emails is for Tesla solar and the emails back when I purchase the truck. As best I can tell they never sent me anything. Again, I believe that's because I started the process of installing powershare and solar.
Originally it was stated that you must make a one time purchase and use the entire credit. If you didn't use it all he lost it. They changed that at some point.
I never got an email about my credit and I never saw it in the online store.
I believe that's because I've been trying to get a...
I spoke with the account manager today and they're saying that you can't have the $2500 credit if you get a system through the solar side. It must be through the Tesla vehicle side and then you get Powershare with a Gateway 3B or something like that only. You can never add anything else to it.
Did you also have a Powerwall 3 or just the truck was powering everything? My current plan is to have a Powerwall 3 in the middle that can now deliver the 11.4 kW or whatever and then they said, supposedly the Powerwall can take power from the truck when it runs out. I'm not sure if it moves the...
That sounds right but my original project manager from Tesla was saying that I could fold that into solar project I was purchasing from them. I'm just wondering if anybody else was able to do that?
I thought they all included something about the Powershare hardware. So a gateway version 3(?) and a universal EV charger? If you got a system through them, I thought you were supposed to get some kind of credit for that hardware however the build ended up.

Initially, the...
Here's a drawing I did trying to show a maximized panel layout. The picture after that is their most recent offering. Which I think pretty much maxes it out as the new service drop at the front right of the house or bottom right of the picture needs to have a three foot radius with no...
If you're pursuing Tesla Solar and battery installation should you get a $4000 credit towards that?
I'm currently working on a 24 panel install with a single Powerwall 3 with the Tesla backup switch and Universal charger to use Powershare. They haven't shown any kind of credit for the...
Be sure to let me know how it goes. I was just hoping it's one of the recalls and not hardware and wiring harness related. I really hate going into the service center. I also tried putting them in the large language model but it just did its large language model thing suggesting there's all...
