Looking forward to Joe T’s drone videos once he returns from vacation. We should be seeing rows of SAWD Cybertruck's in the outbound lot next month.
I noticed PAWD trim lead times in my area have jumped to August-September. I’m confident it’s related to the start of SAWD production.
Aptera is quickly running out of funding. It will be a miracle if the $35k autocycle ever goes into production. I predict they will follow Fisker, Canoo and Elio into bankruptcy.
This guy has driven the PAWD and the RWD trims and compared the suspension and sound systems. He claims the RWD truck is missing the bass "thump" which makes sense.
The high margin $100k CyberBeast is prioritized for the fastest lead time with $80k PAWD and $70k SAWD models following behind.
Tesla just increased some Model Y prices by $1k and $500. I’m guessing that demand has increased since gasoline prices have escalated.
I’m guessing Tesla AI is getting swamped with delivery timeline questions by “June delivery” SAWD reservation holders.
Early SAWD reservation holders want a delivery timeline as we approach Memorial Day weekend with June around the corner. Once a VIN is issued it’s usually a 2-3 week wait until...
My research shows that the CT “containment hold“ is due to issues with the VTD (vehicle terminal display). It apparently has to do with a wiring issue.
We should know the truth shortly.
Excellent news.
I assume that the fluttering/vibrating door issues have been addressed by engineering and assembly line updates after 2.5 years of Cybertruck production.
Keep us posted on your fresh 2026.
From another forum member who spoke with Tesla service today…
“talked with service and they said that the service hold has been extended through end of quarter and thus we cannot deliver any cybertruck until end of June at the moment.”
From Google AI:
“Yes, multiple Cybertruck buyers are...

Thanks for sharing this info.
Google AI says…

Don’t worry, your covered by the factory warranty. Standard procedure for all Tesla service.
This gives customers an estimate in case they are out of the warranty period.
Joe’s recent drone footage is evidence that SAWD batch production has not started.
It will be a sight to see when the TX outbound lot is full of SAWD $59,990 Cybertruck’s.
No plans to upgrade the OEM Molten 18" wheels but if I did I would choose these HD forged wheels...
