Premium AWD est. delivery slips to July-August

Exactly my thought. Highest margin trim equals the speediest delivery window. Those trying to order the $80k PAWD trim see the 9+ week lead time now contemplate stepping up to the $99k Cyberbeast for a quicker delivery date.

Magnetic sticker damage - how to restore stainless steel finish?

It's a great reminder not to attach magnetic emblems to the CT’s stainless steel panels. The SS pitting is pretty significant. You would need to grind a significant amount of material away to totally eliminate the pitting.

My PCS Failure Estimated Fix is July 13

July 13th is crazy. PCS failure is the #1 topic on this forum right now. This might also explain the low CT production numbers at the TX assembly plant right now.

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

If you watch Joe T.’s Giga TX drone videos you’ll notice that Cybertruck production is very low on his flying days. I counted less than 25 CT’s sitting in the outbound lot yesterday, April 24th. Tesla runs a very tight ship when it comes to assembly plant manpower. My guess is they are...

Wheels wish list: disc-like wheel covers

I do like these covers. They have a very ingenious mounting system as well. I know they are developing 20” covers for the Cybertruck, not sure about 18” for SAWD owners.

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

The exterior is tough to inspect due to zero paint on the SS. For example, a damaged quarter panel could be replaced but you won’t be able to tell since it has no exposed bolts or paint to inspect. In addition to the checklist above I would look at the windshield and roof glass alignment...

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

That older VIN makes me very suspicious. The vehicle may have been damaged during transport and it just got out of the collision center. Perform your due diligence. For $80k I would demand a fresh VIN and not accept the older VIN that Tesla assigned you.

Loose roof headliner trim and high pitch noises after windshield replacement

Part of the problem is the auto mechanic shortage in the US. It’s hard to retain mechanics at dealerships around the country. The average hourly wage for a Tesla technician is $27.79 an hour. That pencils out to roughly $58k per year.

    Base AWD CT availability

We can speculate all day long on when SAWD deliveries begin. All we have to go on is the delivery date when we placed our online reservations. When I placed my 7:03am PST reservation the website stated June for delivery. I assume a VIN will be assigned by late May/early June if the estimated...

What can be added or upgraded on new standard AWD (non-premium)?

Being the illumination is 48 volts I don't see any aftermarket options on the horizon.
