I like your thinking but don't believe Tesla can now change the deposit requirement on existing pre-orders. At the time I thought $100 was too little as a deposit - but that's what they asked for. - but your "upgraded order" now there is an idea.
I agree going back on the $100 would be a terrible idea but I would sure go for a voluntary say, extra $5000 deposit if it would speed up the execution and delivery process - in exchange I would be rewarded with a "founder" logo on my CT. On the other hand would this be sending out the wrong...
When Cybertrucks start feeding into the traffic they will draw more attention than you running down the road naked with your hair on fire.
No need to pay for advertising.
And I bought a spare wheel, jack & wheel spanner for my model 3 on E Bay.
No way do I have a truck with no spare wheel. Totally unacceptable to me.
Bad enough on a city car..... On a truck going off-road, won't even think of it.
"Iconic (of course for designers) is the best because you become immediately recognisable and the world, you're detaching yourself from the world"
Cybertruck is brilliant because they have totally detached from the truck world and will always be instantly recognizable - like the VW beetle but...
How daft to punish American success and promote foreign manufacturers at the expense of the American tax payer.
This has got to be stopped in its tracks.
Gee a 800 mile range in a ice truck!
I must have owned 20 different mid size trucks in my life. My Toyota hilux with a Ford Essex V6 battled for 200 miles! (50 liter tank) (but what a fun vehicle!)
My diesel Isuzu’s we’re far and away the best economy, particularly the KB250 which could give me...
I don't know if anyone else sees it but to me Elon is recently looking rather drawn and a bit unhealthy.
Please goodness, I hope he looks after himself - the planet needs him!
I wouldn't wish it on Ford at all.
It would be a huge tragedy and loss if Ford or any of the other big automakers failed.
I do however believe that the Cybertruck will hurt Ford (and all the other truck makers) sales figures and therefore hurt their bottom line.
The sales that ct does are sales...
I just took delivery of my Model 3 last friday (Friday 13th!)
I have read negative reports about Tesla quality so I was somewhat apprehensive. I am very happy to report zero defects.
Panel gaps are very good and paintwork ( pearl white) is flawless. If I were extremely picky I could slightly...
I don't fit any of the profiles either.
I driven pick-up trucks since Moses was a small boy. Worked as a Construction Contractor, towed race cars, sailing boats, bass boats, caravans, horse boxes and of course work trailers. I want my cybertruck 'cos I hate paying for gas, hate oil changes and...
