It will matter. Not in the way that they'll go in absolute order, but someone reserving now, won't be invited to configure in the first year. The only way that happens is if they completely fuck up the price and put it out of reach for 90% of the population. What I'm more interested in is what...
My bad I guess. When you said "I'm an American" I took that as sarcasm because what the hell does your nationality have to do with anything related to the Cybertruck? People drive trucks all over the planet. Sorry, it's really weird to me when people use vehicles as an extension of their identity.
Weird thing to post on the Cybertruck owners club. I can't tell if this is meant to be taken seriously or if it's sarcastic. I'll assume you're not stupid and chose sarcasm.
A couple of inches wouldn't matter much, imo. It's the shape. That long, sloping glass windshield did them in. I think the HEPA filter is still there. No matter, we're getting closer! At this rate, they'll have probably 50-100 built by the end of August.
I think with the shape of the car, they didn't have a choice on frunk design. It would have been small no matter what. If they wanted to prioritize frunk space, they'd have to redesign the whole vehicle, imo. A more traditional, square front-end like the Lightning lends itself perfectly for the...
I can't tell. It's 100% a guess. It would be a smart feature to include though. I was trying to bait Greggertruck to reveal more, lol. I thought the last few shots of the roof looked very similar to this one. A lot still think it's solar, but PDLC is what I'm leaning towards
I keep going back to this answer from Franz about range. It's very much up to debate on how each of us interpret it, but his confidence screams "500 miles". Hopefully they give us 2 trim options and the long range is one of them.
I'm really interested in the molding now present beneath the front bar light. I don't like it, but I bet it helps with production. Folding that piece of stainless 3 times instead of 6 would probably take more time than just throwing trim there.
Not to mention, Franz said on the "ride the lightning" interview that it will best all other EV Trucks in range. So, interesting to see what happens.
Edit: it wasn't ride the lightning, it was the inevitable.
At your age, I'd just park it in the driveway and say screw it. You can precool the car before you leave. Or just use a 3rd party app to schedule cooling for certain times (hottest part of the day). Probably won't cost but a few extra dollars a month, if you're concerned with the dash melting.
It would completely depend on the cost. $80k, 350 mile version. Probably dead in it's tracks. $50k-60. Probably could push through the first year at that price.
That would be an interesting strategy. Makes complete sense, since they're battery constrained. Would give them time to iron out production and get through the long backlog. A bit bummed, but I don't mind waiting a little longer because I won't pull the trigger until the 500+ mile one comes out.
Hello friend. Just wanted to let you know, there are, literally, billions of other people on this planet. I'm glad you don't want this, but there are plenty of us who actually do want it, not to mention most of the world is under 5'9", so it's not that big a deal.
