It was probably made in the past week! It's cool to think that your truck didn't even exist a few days ago. That also likely means they are still making FS trucks. It seems risky to me for them to laser etch the FS badge on trucks. If FS demand dries up how do they get rid of them?

Man, this makes me want to switch my VIN back to a white interior so I can take delivery before my long weekend. Also, 17k VIN is the highest I've seen. Should have all of the running changes based on small issues that have been found.

I backed out, but ONLY because they gave me a white interior VIN when I ordered the grey interior. I'd GO for it if it were me! Summer is here and it's a great season to get to know the truck.

VIN within 24 hours says a lot about the current demand vs supply. Anyone who wants FS (white interior) can have one.

Yeah, given what you're getting, FS isn't a $20k "tax"....you're getting product for the extra money.

This was my experience after test driving a Model S back in 2014. I went back to my manual transmission Chevy Cruze 1 minute after driving the S and instantly couldn't understand how I'd been putting up with it.

I drove a rental Chevy Something after a few years of driving my Tesla.....it was SO BAD that I literally thought the transmission was about to go. Nope.....just that bad. Non-EV drivers have no idea how terrible their cars are.

They are both 20" wheels. Am I wrong to think you can't just put all season tires on once you wear out your first set of all terrains? I ordered the all terrains with the plan of putting all seasons on them after 30,000 miles or whenever I wear out the first set. Should be a nice efficiency...

Yes, that's what I configured and I'm waiting on one. I ordered grey and they gave me a white interior VIN that I rejected (not what I ordered!).

100%. If you don't want to wait for a year+ you need to jump on a FS truck. There are TONS of people (many of us) who are waiting on the non-FS and the backlog will suddenly go out many months. I plan on FS once they deliver the grey interior.
