Do you have your phone with you to unlock the car? It should unlock by pressing the button on the cord.
I personally have my Teslas set to not lock at home so this isn't an issue.
Sometimes you may need to open the rear passenger door to wake the car up even if it's unlocked.
Interesting that I'm perceiving this differently. My wife has the same opinion as me.
The spread is very good, but the brightness is quite low in my opinion which means the throw distance is also unimpressive. I'll have to do some more night driving to refine my opinion.
I saw a teardown...
I picked up my AWD Cybertruck on Saturday and it is FREAKING FANTASTIC! The only complaint that I have is that the headlights (both main and high beams) are pretty weak compared to my Model 3 and Y (which are very bright). They are useable, but by no means impressive.
Anyone else have the same...
Hello,
I pick up tomorrow and am looking for recommendations for 3d printed hub covers. I'm not sure I have enough time to print all four, but would like to get a head start.
Thanks!
I'm picking up my grey interior Cybertruck tomorrow! Like others have said, they may have overproduced the white/Foundation trucks (laser etched tailgate/body panels) and are trying to zero out the inventory because they can't exactly sell Foundation trucks to non-foundation buyers.
The displayed 150 mile range is concerning to me as it indicates the BMS thinks the truck's battery has less than 50% of the capacity that it should have at 100% charge. It could be a gross miscalibration, but I've never seen one that far off.
...well, common knowledge by old hats, I suppose. The dash number is quite literally just reported capacity * a constant that only changes as the BMS reported full capacity degrades. Otherwise, the dash number would show 999 miles if you were headed down out a mountain pass or 99 miles going the...
This only applies to the trip planner (which is magically accurate). The miles on the dash is simply the calculated kWh remaining * EPA Wh/mile. As the battery naturally degrades (normally not over 10% in 5-10 years), the kWh capacity will become less and the miles number will get smaller at the...
I believe the manual has a calibration process for the tonneau cover. Don't quote me (go read it), but I think you press and hold the button until it reaches the end of travel and then continue holding until the motor stalls.
