  1. Any Tactical Grey VINs yet?

The build quality on my 21,xxx VIN is EXCELLENT! Literally nothing inside or out to mention!
  2. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

I'm sorry, but which page of the manual is this located? I can't find it with a search.
  3. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

Great to hear. I'll try that! Where is the auto-calibration menu?
  4. Dumb charger question

Do you have your phone with you to unlock the car? It should unlock by pressing the button on the cord. I personally have my Teslas set to not lock at home so this isn't an issue. Sometimes you may need to open the rear passenger door to wake the car up even if it's unlocked.
  5. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

I'll look at it. I can see the cutoff and it looks about right, but I'll investigate more.
  6. Tactical Grey Interior: Just YES!

Haha, well my whole point is that pictures don't accurately represent it! I promise you won't regret not getting white.
  7. Tactical Grey Interior: Just YES!

The Tactical Grey interior is excellent! It looks way better than the pictures. Highly recommended for all!
  8. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

I also have a 2018 Model 3. I agree! This truck is incredible!!! My build quality is also literally perfect. I haven't found a single flaw anywhere!
  9. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

I haven't adjusted them and don't really want to for the same reason as you. It's not so much the aiming as it is the light output (lumens).
  10. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

Interesting that I'm perceiving this differently. My wife has the same opinion as me. The spread is very good, but the brightness is quite low in my opinion which means the throw distance is also unimpressive. I'll have to do some more night driving to refine my opinion. I saw a teardown...
  11. Weak Headlights are the Cybertruck's Worst Feature

I picked up my AWD Cybertruck on Saturday and it is FREAKING FANTASTIC! The only complaint that I have is that the headlights (both main and high beams) are pretty weak compared to my Model 3 and Y (which are very bright). They are useable, but by no means impressive. Anyone else have the same...
  12. Recommend 3d printed hub covers

Hello, I pick up tomorrow and am looking for recommendations for 3d printed hub covers. I'm not sure I have enough time to print all four, but would like to get a head start. Thanks!
  13. Text from Tesla - grey interior and core tires delay until later in 2024 - consider changing …

I'm picking up my grey interior Cybertruck tomorrow! Like others have said, they may have overproduced the white/Foundation trucks (laser etched tailgate/body panels) and are trying to zero out the inventory because they can't exactly sell Foundation trucks to non-foundation buyers.
  14. New Redesigned Aero Wheel Covers Installed!

Which aftermarket hub covers are these? Do you have a link to purchase?
  15. 100% Charged for 150 mi?? (UPDATED)

The displayed 150 mile range is concerning to me as it indicates the BMS thinks the truck's battery has less than 50% of the capacity that it should have at 100% charge. It could be a gross miscalibration, but I've never seen one that far off.
  16. 100% Charged for 150 mi?? (UPDATED)

...well, common knowledge by old hats, I suppose. The dash number is quite literally just reported capacity * a constant that only changes as the BMS reported full capacity degrades. Otherwise, the dash number would show 999 miles if you were headed down out a mountain pass or 99 miles going the...
  17. 100% Charged for 150 mi?? (UPDATED)

This only applies to the trip planner (which is magically accurate). The miles on the dash is simply the calculated kWh remaining * EPA Wh/mile. As the battery naturally degrades (normally not over 10% in 5-10 years), the kWh capacity will become less and the miles number will get smaller at the...
  18. Any Tactical Grey VINs yet?

Here it is in the manual: https://www.tesla.com/ownersmanual/cybertruck/en_us/GUID-F46A4E66-35C3-4F4E-B587-4D11A164A734.html
  19. Any Tactical Grey VINs yet?

I believe the manual has a calibration process for the tonneau cover. Don't quote me (go read it), but I think you press and hold the button until it reaches the end of travel and then continue holding until the motor stalls.
