With no stalks there has to be a manual options to change gears, shift from park to drive. I don't see it here or a place where it can be. On the S/X it's on the phone charger.
I think you are confused what many are upset about then.
The screen behind the wheel would make a huge difference.
I'm still hoping the Plaid version will have it although I doubt it.
That's not true.
There was one version that had the Model S/X screen behind the wheel.
It's not a deal breaker for me, but it is much better in the S than my Y.
The lack of phone chargers and narrowness of the seat worry me. Hoping it's the lens.
0 chance it's the most efficient at highway speeds. Math can show you that.
It will take a bigger range loss going fast than the X/Y, which take a much larger range hit than the 3/S.
Keep in mind that we are talking about interstate speeds. Drag/wind resistance is the biggest factor. The Y is terrible. Not as bad as the X, but far far worse than the S.
Those wh/miles vary by person. There are people who get 240 wh/mile with their 22 MX and people like me whose lifetime...
Keep in mind that the 3 and the S are FAR more efficient than the X/Y and hold more true to their ranges at highway speeds. The CT will fair worse than the X/Y if all the predicted drag coefficients are correct.
They've changed predictions based on the economy/ "affordability" and potential demand. Elon has just recently started saying how slow the ramp will be as well.
Things change.
Just as advertised in 2019 there will be lower cost models and higher cost.
The higher cost won't sell as much as the lower cost, but will likely be produced first.
There will be a very slow ramp and mass production starts in 2024.
Everything else is a guess.
Every state is different and that's what we are all speaking to the base price. Tesla never advertises final pricing.
Because every state is SO different, it's a dumb way to discuss pricing.
Example, South Carolina caps sales tax at $300 on a car. My MY and MS had the same sales tax.
