Have you seen this step down converter? Where is it located? I read that someone added a radar detector in place of the rearview mirror and got power from a wire under the cover above the mirror. They said it was 15v. A lot of unknowns in the electrical system.
What do you mean under 30K? The build number? I was at GFTX just a few days ago and looked at a VIN number of a CT on the assembly line and it was in the 25K number sequence. They've not even made 30K yet. I don't think mine has US sensors and it's in the 17K range.
Actually, what I thought was powder coat is just a color change in the ecoat. They now have a separate PTED system where before they ran the CT through the model Y system. The CT is now using black ecoat in it's own process. They still powder coat the pillars but it's rather difficult to see...
You'd think for 85 bucks they would include four bolts that are black. I purchase and took a sharpie to black them out until I purchase something proper.
You can see in the model Y gigacast the red overspray on the interior. No one cares about that from any manufacture because it just gets covered up.
