Agree, non carpet flooring seems like it would be more practical, but always seems to be looked down on (f150L only the pro low end truck has it). Doubt Tesla will offer it to us as...

Seems like w EV configs, road noise below would be less of an issue & newer liner products & rubber designs could still absorb noise, vibration & offer anti-slip textures.
Letās go one step further for aesthetics; remove the wheel entirely & use a tank steering system. That would be fun to drive with daily.
Put controls on the side of each seat and easily switch drivers. Literally back seat driving.
One difference is physical mirrors, headlights, etc are things we can check and maintain before driving & some redundancy vs software - eg if you have an entire camera system down. Then again, low chance & Iām all for the CT camsā¦
Would be nice, but I would think part of the reason is people have a hard time memorizing a long vin or barcode vs current plates (crime, h&r accidents,ā¦). Cameras arenāt always these, accessed quick enough, angle, reso, ā¦

To be fair, there are areas with rolling blackouts, grid issues, general failures. With solar I wouldnāt mind an option to use a future Tesla vehicle in a similar way, as a backup or to schedule feed/draw similar to powerwall.
I donāt know that I agree with āCybertruck doesnāt need a garageā, as the solution. Do many vehicles really āneedā to be garaged? Itās more about ownership experience and longevity.
