Are they giving loaner cars / uber coupons ... ?

What size is your garage ? You seem to be one of those rare people who actually use the garage for the vehicles and not junk ;) Mine is about 21x21 and not sure I can park the Model 3 & the CT when I get it.

I had the same situation (just that I ordered in May - but changed location in June). So I sent texts to Tesla a couple of times - and in a week I got the VIN. So, send texts if you have the contact.

Finally got the VIN today. Reached out to Tesla via text messages last week and was told to expect a VIN in 2 to 4 weeks. Now - when I go to give my insurance, it doesn't recognize my GEICO NAIC number. Does anyone else got this problem ... in Florida ?

I'd have had no problem waiting - but that leaves us with one car, so may have to rent a car waiting for CT .... indefinitely. I guess I can wait for 2 more weeks and see. I'll also go and checkout the grey interior if they have one locally.

Anyone with a May/June order still not got tactical grey VIN yet ? I wonder whether my order has got "stuck" somehow. I configured in May with WA delivery. In June I changed to FL because we are relocating. Had a few text messages with Tesla folks to complete the changes. No VIN yet...

I changed pickup location (from WA to FL) in June, so that may have pushed me to back of the line ... BTW, will the black trim make the truck get hotter ? I was thinking of changing to white trim because of this concern ...

I see a lot of Grey Vins configured after I did ... I configured on 5/8. Should have got my VIN by now.

I've only followed Tesla for 15 years and spent hours everyday on TMC. So, naturally I'm very ignorant about Tesla.

Tesla is just trying to cut costs. Otherwise how can they afford to give the CEO $54 Billion ? They keep cutting jobs and laying off people so that the poor CEO can get his few billions. Mind you the CEO will put that money to good use - like ensuring Nazis have free speech - and your sacrifice...

Looks like - if you want to delay the delivery - just change to tactical gray and when ready to take delivery change back to white. I may do that after our move next month ;) ps : Ordered Gray in May. Still waiting for the first gray to be delivered.

12.4 is quite a bit delayed. They must have found a lot of regressions considering it was with full retraining. I wish they unlinked CT support and 12.4 (or .5). Separate features.

I think that was what they were building waiting for gray to start production. They didn't probably anticipate a bunch of orders getting changed to gray and most new orders being gray.

Not talking about the LTS (hey, I bought TSLA in 2011 !), just that the white VIN is getting assigned almost immediately after configuring.
