It ended up not being a blown subwoofer. It was a loose interior piece close to the subwoofer. You are correct, I could also live with some scratches, but never a blown subwoofer. I am music junkie.
Update: I just got a call from the service center and was told all issues have been resolved except the scratches and stains. Specifically, I was told they can't seem to get out the stains and this was the second CT they have seen like this. Tesla is now sending my CT to a body shop to be fixed...
If you think about it once you find out if you're getting the wall charger let me know. I got the call from the installer and told them I didn't want the powershare installed because we're moving out of state within a few years. They told me they'll reach out to Tesla on how to move forward...
I got word from the service center today. They initially told me it would be done today, but they're having difficulty getting all the stains out. My CT was completely covered with a drip-like stain. This is how it was delivered, which I think is terrible. I was able to use BKF to remove a lot...
If you're close to another service center I would try them. Sorry, you're having a difficult time. I took mine to my local service center and they seemed very willing to help me.
I would have to say I am pretty pleased with Tesla's service. They got me in quickly and will address all my issues. Plus they gave me a Model S Plain as a loaner. My guess is they're going to redo the pre-delivery process. Which I think is a 6 or 7 stage sanding process, but I could be wrong.
I dropped off my CT at the service center today to have them fix the scratches and dripping stains all over the CT. I figured I had to take CT in for some other issues, so might as well get them fixed to fix the scratches. The plastic piece at the top of the tailgate was loose on the driver's...
I totally agree!! The CT is amazing, I have about 250 miles on mine. This is my third Tesla and I drive a Model X for work, the CT is right now the best Tesla made*. *my opinion
It was on the stainless, hood and driver's door. When I picked it up it was still pretty dirty and I figured it was built around 1/24/24 right around the big storm they had at the Gigi Texas. I think the scratches are coming from when the delivery center is prepping the CT for delivery. They're...
I did not do any before or after photos, but I can tell you that BKF and Windex work great on the hood for removing stains. But, I did notice a large scratch which I reported to Tesla for a fix.
It looks like we picked our CT at the same place. I got it today and noticed some scratches on the driver's door and some stains on the hood. I am not concerned about it as it should be fairly easy to polish. Tomorrow I will be taking a closer look.
