Creaking with slow speed acceleration and deceleration

Service appointment tomorrow.
I started to have it on the drivers side, but was able to push a loose clip back into place at the lower b pillar trim and it seemed to have went away.

Do you know the location of clips on the lower part of b pillar trim? I'll try that tonight.

Just push and if it creaks, it’s around there some where.
Something else going on with my passenger side because I can make it creak but not click in.

I’m having this exact same issue with my drivers door/b pillar. It’s driving me nuts. Got the truck back from service about 3 weeks ago for the recalls, and this started the next day. I don’t want to take it back, and would love to just address myself.

would you mind telling me how they “insulated” the striker? A private message is fine. Mine is definitely the b pillar, as I can apply outward pressure on the door with my right arm and eliminate 90% of the noise. I can also feel the creaking easily when holding the b pillar during accel/decel from stop.

I appreciate the reply anyway. After reading, I went and wrapped the front and side of both front door latch posts on the b pillars with some electrical tape. Even closing the door feels more secure and solid. I had already loosened both the post and door latch itself to slightly reposition, but there isn’t much wiggle room in either. Little adjustments had seemed to make small differences in the creaking though.

time for a test drive. I spend a lot of time on this forum and track most every issue there has been, but hadn’t seen this and thought I was alone and going crazy. As much as I shouldn’t have to do this on a new vehicle that wasn’t exactly cheap, I’ve owned a lot of new vehicles, and this is far from the weirdest thing I’ve had to fix myself.

Yes please share pics with what you did, especially if you find it eliminates it. I realized after reading through this thread again that I actually have two different creaks. The drivers side b-pillar when accelerating and stopping is one of them. The other is when turning at slow speed, that one is more from behind the center console or the backseat somewhere I think.

My bad forgetting to update. I’m here to report no more noise! I had a few squeaks also coming from my seat covers rubbing on the center console. I isolated them with a dark microfiber. Once those were eliminated, the very loud creaking (which I could clearly feel) from the B pillar was completely eliminated by wrapping the door latch bar that’s connected to the lower B pillar with black electrical tape. Did 2 tight, slightly stretched wraps. 90% of the creak gone. Did another and 2 on the front facing side of the bar: gone completely. I was now able to hear the faintest creak from the back door. So I did 2 wraps of electrical tape on all 3 remaining latch bars. Truck is as quiet as it should be now. I actually want to drive it again.

Wanted to update everyone watching this on a fix the service center did for my truck. I had the creak sound coming from what sounded like the B pillars when accelerating and braking. When I got to the service center we took it for a test drive and the tech confirmed he could hear the creaking. When I got the truck back the next day it was silent. The service note for this was:

Repair Notes: Lubricated all four door latches (as there was none there). Noise is no longer present.

Although they have been great, their timelines aren’t ideal and they don’t seem to spend much time looking for something not blatantly obvious or easily fixable. Yup the council bluffs location, the new facility they just built near the mid America center is really nice!

I have the exact same problem, have a service appointment in 2 weeks. The creak started after they performed the recall fixes, the creaking keeps getting louder.
I did the "tape" fix and I no longer hear the annoying creak, will remove it before my service appointment so they can properly fix it.
