John you are definitely determined to sleep in that truck lol. I am sure with your persistence you will find a reasonably easy and reasonably comfortable way to get the job done. That sketch isnāt a bad idea if the seat will indeed fold that far. ?
Iāve never put a tape to mine but I donāt think CT is wider than the duals but I could be wrong. Actually Iām almost certain itās not, my truck is freakin wide in my driveway. If the CT is wider I will not be able to go through my main bankās drive thru. I have about 2 inches on each side to...
I agree, it would be a major undertaking due to both design and the actual fabrication. Even if you could pull that off, the range would be extremely short if you loaded it to the point where a dually is necessary. With all that said, it would be cool to have a dually version with no rear...
Maybe you could fabricate some quick connects to make the seat easily removed? With my back trouble moving around the seat wouldnāt be optimal for me though.
Sometimes you have to just give up trying to get your point across even when you feel strongly about something because there is always someone with time to argue. There are two threads here that I have to make it a point not to open and read when they come to the top because I donāt want to get...
I hope itās so you can reposition a fifth wheel or maybe for short runs? Iām afraid a load heavy enough that a 5th wheel is mandatory would require unpractical charging times. I agree though, it would be a bonus if the CT could jockey my 5th wheels around too.
I currently have an electric cover on my 350. I canāt speak to how the CT will be designed but I can tell you how mine is and it looks much like the one on the CT. The slats are aluminum and the cover doesnāt leak, MUCH. The slats have a track they ride in along each side, sort of sandwiched...
I like your list, although I have no need for a sunroof or beefed up audio. One thing I would like to add is a traditional dash display like the model S. I know the main screen will have all relevant info but I would still like to be able to glance slightly downward to see speed and a few...
This thread got me to looking closer at the frunks and I like that feature too. Much easier access and less chance of scraping something heavy across the truck when loading/unloading the frunk.
And I was addressing a specific comment myself. You need to read the original statement I was referring to so you understand the context. Itās pretty obvious that the statement I was referring to and the statement I made myself were both referring to āitā as bullet, NOT some insignificant close...
Iām not real familiar with that route but maybe If you could locate enough campgrounds along the way in advance it could work? And I know most donāt think a generator has much use when it comes to a cybertruck and I wouldnāt plan on or rely on using one to make the trip but a good propane...
I really donāt think a mid-gate is on Teslaās to-do list. I think it would be a nice option but it would pose the problems you mentioned for the cover, and probably other problems we canāt think of. Would be nice though.
